Dc reels
Casting distance is less than other reels. Safety = less distance though so no surprise. I bought one, I won't be buying another.

Pick One Topwater Technique to Master
There is no topwater I am eager to fish more than a frog. That being said it may not be the best first topwater lure, but definitely make it your 2nd or 3rd.

Solo launch - no dock
Instead of getting in the water like A-Jay does on the way out you can just tie the rope to your trailer and do a "hot" unload. ie, for the last couple fit give it a bit of gas and hit the brakes. Boat floats out, hits the end of the rope and stops while you pull the trailer out of the water and grab the rope and secure it to something on shore or pull the boat to shore. Saves any cold possibility on the way out.

Solo launch - no dock
I bring my glass boat onto shore albeit with a keel protector. In white caps I wouldn't like it, but for most launches it isn't a big deal. Other option is a super long rope and tie off to an anchor/weight/something on shore and then pull in when you get back.

Eating healthy..
In Italy or France sure, but England, Germany and many other countries are catching us. Not as many morbidly obese but plenty of fluffy folks. I am there at least 3* a year and it is rapidly getting worse.

Ultimate supreme bunk boards
Being so slick you can't unclick up the ramp makes me instantly not interested. I've never had a problem loading or unloading with the carpet so an upgrade that makes my launch process worse is a downgrade

Ned rig snags - am I doing something wrong?
NO WAY, no how am I spearing my rod into the water when there is a lure knocker on my boat at all times. For me I always pluck the bow, come from reverse, then lure knocker in that order.

Ultimate supreme bunk boards
That sort of defeats the purpose of a bunk trailer then doesn't it?

Ramp Drop Off - Ideas
It also isn't necessary. I back my trailer in right and then tap into it with some momentum. 2 cranks on the handle and done. Super easy.

Ramp Drop Off - Ideas
Lord no. 45 min from my house or something to get there. That launch is a neighborhood launch. If there are only 3' of concrete I wouldn't really call that a concrete ramp... It is SUPER low.

Would You Fish A Frog Without Legs?
I usually have a long legged, short legged and no legged frog tied up when that is the bite I am after. Quite often the legless one wins the most bites

Ramp Drop Off - Ideas
I've also never seen a concrete boat ramp that was so short that you had to get past the concrete with your tires. Most people new to launching back their trailer in too far to load and unload. Everything is better when it is wet...ask my wife, but definitely back to get your bunks wet then pull back up to the spot you need to be at for loading. On my trailer and nearly every ramp that means you can see the tips of the rear bunks. Normally there is a good 8' of concrete after my tires then too. Of course up North here we mostly fish natural lakes so the launch level is pretty consistent.

Eating healthy..
Best diet is all single ingredient purchases. ie, nothing processed with anything else. 2nd best thing you can do is vary your diet. I rarely eat the same meal 2x in a month. Next addition is to try and make it as diverse as possible. The best part of all the above is that it is addictive and self fulfilling. Any diet is a temporary measure until you reverse it. A lifestyle change however is permanent so whatever diet you pick you better learn to like it more than your habits are today.

Cooking/Baking Thread
Made Gyro's and a greek salad last night. Didn't have much time, but homemade pitas are fast and the rest is pretty much **** we had lying around. I make roasted gyro loaf in bulk and freeze it for frying up later.

Best spinning reels under $150?
Just don't steal a gun from the rack and shoot yourself while you are there... https://www.fox9.com/news/eden-prairie-mall-shooting-man-dies-of-self-inflicted-gunshot-wound-at-mall ...but it is the reel I'd buy for that price. Great deal,.

4 baguettes and hamburger buns twice in just the last 3 days....but not sure that would feed the whole website.

what can I use to shoot thru an aluminum boat for depth readings on plane
I have 3 transducers hanging off the back of my boat. If one breaks off or stops working I use the other. None are through hull as regardless of hull I don't want anything to ever possibly influence the readings

Micro Guides on baitcasting rods.
I built most of my rods before they were available but for any technique that I don't use a leader on they will be used in the future. Mick pointed out the advantages and there are only 2 disadvantages the first being leader knots and the second being they require reading glasses for me to get the line through.

What are you doing with the free tackle warehouse sticker?
My toolbox is a sticker display

Video Game Fishing
If it is mounted on your trolling motor good luck watching fish bite. A separate pole would be helpful. Either way, I use mine like I use other sonar to see structure and potentially fish. Just like many use side and then map with down, it is just one more tool to look ahead instead of waiting until you are on the spot. Adds confidence in your casting direction.

where are you at with respect to Cast-Iron pans?
Do as you wish, just wanted you to know the reality. I love my pans and their no stick finish but still wash them.

Top Water walking Bait Rod
I would never use any of my 844's for walking baits. Way easier to walk and keep the hooks in the fish with a lighter rod.

where are you at with respect to Cast-Iron pans?
I have a few griswolds, some super thick copper pans, and some carbon steel pans. I use the copper for anything where I may want to vary the heat quickly, the steel for when I am going to beat the crap out of the pan, and the cast for when I want it to hold heat after I put whatever into the most. Each have their place. That is an antiquated need. Soap doesn't have lye anymore so you can soap your cast and no lose your finish. Except they are a serious pan to get fit for cooking. The need to be sanded down as the interior finish is way too rough straight from Lodge. They are also artificially heavy which is great if you need high heat and have a wimpy stove, but super sluggish if not. I've sanded a lodge smooth, but still sold it and prefer the older pieces. Interesting, I didn't hear that and was standing in her kitchen yesterday.

Weekends vs Weekdays - High Pressured Lakes
A 10'" muskie lure cast 5' from their bow will garner an apology to you. I live on Minnetonka and since Saturday there have been 5 tournaments and it is only Tuesday. I am a shore fisherman trying to learn to fish offshore and it will test you. Still can catch some but bring your a game.
