  1. Bazoo, post in the tackle making thread. You will probably get blown up by ideas.
  2. Suspending jerkbaits, just can't crack the code. Drop shot, think I shake it too much. Think there is a joke about that, if I recall.
  3. I can't believe no one has mentioned robbing wasp nets for the larvae.
  4. I wanted to love those kinda boots, but they make my feet sweat so bad. Those look nice, though.
  5. 100% agree with OP's assessment of Daiwa SV reels. The placement of the drag dial can be problematic at times.
  6. Straight braid, no rocks here in the deep south.
  7. Um yeah, you should. It will be a lighter thump than full sizes, naturally. I fish the 1/16" flash backs on a ultralight rod and you would know it was bladed jig down there.
  8. I'm another that BamaSpotHunter (bait monkey's advocate) put on Damiki Armour Shads. By the way, what micro chatter are you throwing?
  9. OG 7.5 Culprits for sure. Surprised nobody has mentioned Renegades. Grew up in the 90's in a small town, Wal-Mart was all we had.
  10. Give flush cutting dykes a try. I mod dewalt power tool boxes with them. Can't tell you on the sanding, it was function over fancy.
  11. Could try Z-man slim swimz. They come in 2.5" and 3". A little super glue to keep it in place and one will probably last as long as the bait.
  12. Picture says it all. Felt a bump and set the hook.
  13. Gang tats, maybe?
  14. Them legs look delicious...
  15. Being that I bank fish most of the time, I prefer the smaller frogs. A MH/F rod handles them just fine and can be used for other approaches, keeping my rig count down. Albeit, the weeds in most spots that I fish are not that thick.
  16. Hercules...Hercules... Hercules no fade, stuff just doesn't fade.
  17. + many on the spunk shad
  18. Glue flat bar magnets to the bottom of your compartments. Fixes a lot of issues.
  19. Youtube, cooking blogs and forums... go figure. That ChatGPT sounds really cool. My personsal favorite... https://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/
  20. Fearless, your probably gonna get hung up but imho your also gonna get bit. Buy extras when on sale, it takes a little sting out of losing them.
  21. Oh yeah, forgot about "Chinese Amazon" Aliexpress. Old or broke spinnerbait heads make great chatterbait donors. Here you go, Chris. https://www.aliexpress.us/item/2251832511908404.html?gatewayAdapt=glo2usa4itemAdapt
  22. Sorry, man. I didn't check availability before posting the link. They usually always have multiple sizes available. Here is the size L for reference. I could send you a few, if you like. No charge.
  23. Thanks, Munkin. I figured you would drop some knowledge bombs. I struck out googling s-link. Could you explain or drop a link? Thanks.
  24. I'm not pouring, but i have been tempted to get a mold. Do-it makes one that uses flat eye, 60 degree hooks. Problem is, 2/0 is as smallest size for the hooks. The ball heads are from a guy on ebay. The mini-max wannabe is a barlow's head
