  1. This is not me. This is my fishing partner. We went out on the lake Monday evening. He caught 3 at a time twice on a Picasso Baitball Jr. Umbrella Rig.
  2. A couple of hours on the lake this morning…
  3. Hello neighbor. I live in Florence, SC.
  4. Milestone reached today. Wife is learning to back boat on ramp. We had a fun morning on the water…
  5. Grilling is my second hobby. I have a Big Green Egg that I use about once a week. It does make a great burger. I did just get a flat top griddle a few weeks ago. I've been doing some Hibachi Style grilling but I'm going to be doing some smash burgers in the near future.
  6. I have one. I’ve fished it about half a dozen times. I like it.
  7. It’s about price and convenience. We have a couple of local spots that are really good, but I still like a Pizza Hut thin crust from time to time and a Mellow Mushroom.
  8. Another day of catching these little ones…
  9. I really like the Choppo. Especially the white one. I do well with them. The more you use it, the more confident you will get in it. Thanks for sharing your pictures and your story.
  10. The Zoom Mag II is probably my favorite plastic worm. It’s my go-to. I have a lot of colors. I like the Candy Bug and the Scuppernong variations. They seem to catch ‘em about anywhere I fish. You have some excellent choices there.
  11. Caught a few dinks today… You can’t catch the big ones all the time…
  12. My wife lost a Choppo today so I guilted her into us going to Academy after supper…
  13. Went to The Ark Encounter last week. Now that’s a boat.
  14. I use the dry sprays, 30 and 50 SPF. I do wear the long sleeve sun shirts as well. I’m going to try the fingerless gloves.
  15. Welcome back to you, from Florence, SC.
  16. How about those ‘Canes!!!
  17. My wife in action…
  18. I understand this completely. That's how I feel about hunting. I like it when my wife goes fishing with me. She will fish a little, lay out a little, and read a little and we enjoy the time together. But in a tree stand, aint nobody got time for that.
  19. I’ve been wanting to pick one of these up, there aren’t a lot on the shelves here.
  20. I put it on a 7’6” rod for mainly Texas rigging plastics. Maybe run a bladed jig every now and then. I have a couple of Tournament MPs that I’d say it compares well to. I took it out fishing this evening. It casts long and accurate, winds smooth. I didn’t have any backlashes. I didn’t catch anything on it. I caught 4 but on spinning reels, drop shot.
  21. I’m kind of double posting this but this is the better place to post and I wanted to make sure everyone knows about this deal. Lews Hack Attack HD casting reel from Academy. They are normally $149.99. They have them on sale for $69.99. It has aluminum frame, Winn grips, 10 bearing, dual braking, 20 lb.drag. It’s made in Korea not China.
