Same here for the most part......makes me sick, they finally let some grass come back on Wheeler, and it's absolutely exploded. 5/20lb bags are common now. I always forget these lakes are managed for power and other things, last is fishing. Doesn't seem that way in Texas, they seem to value Bass fisheries more than we do in other states for Bass.

If the fish are relying on me getting up at 345am in order to catch them, they got another thing coming, and it's called Katie ? That Pumpkinseed is so beautiful. Sunfish really are the most beautiful fish.

It's officially summer here, 80d water temps, and it's getting harder and harder to fish during the day. Getting close to executing my "Pat Cullen" plan, it's always such a shock to get your body and head in tune with night fishing. Got a nice 3# Spot and another quality one on the buzzer eta: How about a water rat, this dude was actually following me around a cove and then even down the bank a ways, crazy.

Yeah if somebody moves in on another person while they are fishing a spot, they are hole buzzards, the worst of the worst imho.

If I'll steal a Heron's spot, I'll still a human's even quicker lol. This is why if you really want to protect your spot, you night fish ? Some nights you can't even see you hand in front of your face, ain't nobody seeing where you are fishing on those nights. Unless somebody owns 100% of a private lake, there is no such thing as "somebody's fishing spot". It's all fair game, the unfair thing would be the opposite.

Nice toad! I sincerely appreciate that friend, and right back at you! I'd be thrilled to spend a day on the water with so many of you great anglers, and more importantly humans. I loved that movie as a kid, but I was thinking of an equally great albeit different movie lol ? I was googling where the Maine state record came from, and it's listed as there. Then again that record is very old, so the lake is likely very different today than it was. The Alabama record 16.8 was caught in my same County in a small lake in the 80s, I'd love to fish the lake but I'm sure it's totally different even 30+ years later.

Baltimore is for real, they got a fantastic young club. They are really set up well not just for this year, but for a few years. Braves been struggling against good teams at home so far, and this series was no different. They might have won 2/3, but it just as easily could have been a sweep for them. Braves decision to let Dansby walk has cost them big time already, and it really culminated in this series. Grissom almost cost the game yesterday. That said, watch out going forward with Arcia back in the lineup, he's got that clutch gene, great fielding skills, and an absolute hose of an arm. If the Albatross keeps cranking bombs, could be a special year as the Braves will just outscore everybody. Riley has got to get it going.
