Sounds like a winner to me. I use the Gamakatsu G- Finesse Hybrid Worm Hook. Best I've ever used. I'd ask for a nice supply of worm hooks.

I primarily fish two relatively small bodies of water. One is 650 acres; the other is 250 acres. I fish from the bank by choice. The lake office of both gave me a sonar reading map copies with depths and some structure. I spend a lot of time on the rip rap of both lakes and will also fish visible cover although there isn't a lot of that. I like to think of fishing the edges and any irregularities on the bank. Find the vegetation and forage. Good Fishing

Dak's first big test in a big game was against Alabama when Miss. State was number 1 in the country 2014. Alabama won. In my book, yep. I use a Cabela's Fish Eagle 6' Med. casting rod with CX2 graphite. Sensitive and light.

Back in the day, Bassmasters such as Larry Nixon used a pistol grip casting rod and used it well. I use a 5'6" pistol grip using my baitcaster and spincast reels. A pistol grip rod is not easy to find these days. I'm a recreational and enthusiast fisherman. Any of you use Retro gear and tackle?
