  1. Eighty percent of my fishing is bank fishing. I'm retired and enjoy fishing that way. I fish relatively shallow water throwing T rigged and weightless worms and stick baits, spinnerbaits, top waters, lipless crankbaits using a bait caster, spinning and sometimes a spin cast setup. Take no more than 2 rods and a very small tackle box when beating the bank -- sometimes only one rod. I'm pretty good at it. Keep it simple. I enjoy it and I'm not intimidated when fishing large bodies of water.

  3. I put 15 and 20 lbs. braid on my spinning reels. Mostly 12 lb. mono on my bait casters. When I travel a little further from my home lake to Lake Bill Waller, then I might put some heavier braid on one of my bait casters and heavier mono on the others. It's a trophy lake. I enjoy fishing with mono. Been fishing with it for many years. Lake Bill Waller - Wikipedia MDWFP - Lake Bill Waller

  9. Chili con carne - Wikipedia Beans, a staple of Tex-Mex cuisine, have been associated with chili as far back as the early 20th century.[14] The question of whether beans belong in chili has long been a matter of contention among chili cooks. While it is generally accepted that the earliest chilis did not include beans, proponents of their inclusion contend that chili with beans has a long enough history to be considered authentic.

  11. My home lake has shad, craws, bluegill and crappie as the main forage. I'll ask the folks in the main office what the bass are hitting and use fishing forecasts. Sometimes that helps. Sometimes that's useless. Try to keep my presentations with that in mind.
