I mostly fish waters that don't allow outboard motors. Up to 60 to 80 acres of water. When in a boat, like your buddy will stick to the bank when fishing a new body of water casting looking for docks and piers, lily pads, wood and the bare bank casting parallel when possible. Bought the Penn Wrath spinning reel 2500 for 22 dollars on clearance at Academy Sports. Like very much and fish brackish waters on occasion and the sealed stainless-steel bearings help with rust. 33 IPT is fast. And very light. Fresh and Salt water. Academy does clearance often but one must move fast to take advantage. Good Fishing

I don't use snaps on my spinnerbaits. I believe they negatively affect the action and natural appearance of the lure. I have had some issues with the line getting out of place on the lure, too. But never an issue with the line damage. The biggest con, for me, I've had in the past the Bass hitting the lure so hard the lure is mangled and damaged to a point of no more use. Those thin wires don't always hold up. Don't use it now as much as I did years ago. Still, it's a fine spinnerbait. Hank Parker preferred the Indiana blade in gold. Good Fishing
