Hamner likely does win with a 13lb bag, but as we've seen 13lbs is far from a guarantee especially when the horse that you rode in on bolted.      Last guy who almost won the Classic from No

I met Cherry at the 2019 classic, he was working the floor. He’s as big as a pro linebacker. I said why aren’t you fishing, didn’t realize he had missed the classic that year. Then I told him good luc

Good.  I don't intend to watch so I'll just take your word for it this time.

Cody Huff has three over 4#.   That’s what it takes to win.

Jujita is eating sushi during the tournament.  That has to be against the rules.  No live bait in a tournament also means you can’t eat it.😆

And just like that Fujita is back out scoping with a jighead minnow.

I must have missed something but why isnt Seth Feider in this one?

Noon time on day 1 of the Classic and Jay Przekurat

is leading with 5 for 14 - 8.

It's almost like a regular bass tournament.

Who knew ?

Missed the cut last season on tour with AOY points.   Top 40 earn a Classic berth, then the other dozen are made up from other qualifying events like Open wins, and Nation champion.

Figured that was the reason. Thanks!

Glad I'm not in the audience waiting for the weigh in to start.

No kidding, what is up with the weigh in???

them boats been off the water for 2 hours with the fish in the live wells?

Anyone know if Josh wiesner fished? Or did he have some kind of issue?

I was happy to see a guy from my home town made it in, this is definitely a walleye fishing area, wayyyy more popular than bass around here.

sad to see he was the only guy to zero.

I guess he still gets $10,000 anyway

The boat launch is a long way from the arena

I think Glenn said it was over an hour away from the launch.

Hamner leads day 1 w 22 pounds. Hank Cherry is in 7th with Jason Christie in, I think 35th..

One poor soul is in last place with zero fish.
