There have been rumors about Freeze's personal life at Ole Miss. for years. Beat Bama a couple of times and he gets winks. Really a mediocre coach in my opinion who cheated to get wins. Ole Miss did an investigation on him, probably a private detective, and came up with many indiscretions that are unsavory for a college coach. He violated the morals clause in his contract. He didn't contest the Ole Miss. findings and resigned with no buyout (16 million) of a 5 million a yr. job. He gets nothing. Many folks here in Mississippi have always thought he was a fraud. Not good for a man with a wife & three daughters.

You will get all kind of responses for this dilemma. In a nutshell you're not happy with the performance of the shop. Why it's like that in my opinion would not be worth my time. I'd talk to some friends for references for a new mechanic and be gone. Good luck.

In my neck of the woods Wal-Mart was a good place to get some good stuff from rods to plastics back in the nineties. Berkley Lighting rods were sold with a great demand for them. Caught many a bass on the Renegade Tequila Sunrise twirl tail worm 6 inches. Academy came to town and things changed. Small guys are gone. Last time I was in a Wal-Mart fishing section it was in disarray & disorganized with a lousy selection. Things change. And the beat goes on...

Where I live, we have some old Drug Stores & out in the country stores that can put together a delicious old style burger fully dressed however you like it. When in New Orleans, Bud's Broiler is killer.

I get the magazine. Read the article. The Davis Lake mentions recent efforts. I certainly would not challenge California's prowess in producing monsters. Deep lakes great climate with rainbow trout to eat is hard to beat. Hope they can keep it going with all their budget woes & debt. Have a great 4th.

Glad to see Davis Lake make the SE Division list. Only 200 acres but is spitting out 10lb plus bass. 20lb plus predicted. Mississippi does not have the resources like Texas & Florida but does have Wildlife & Fisheries that knows how to develop small lakes for trophies.

As others have recommended you should see a Doc. I once had a trigger finger & trigger thumb in both hands. Really hurt. Doc told me mild arthritis and too much hard casting. Have adjusted and frankly don't fish as much. That's good news because I'm a senior. Still fish.

Congratulate yourself for asking permission. Too many do not. Respect for private property is important.
