Me too! spent 10 years in wisconsin,17 years in Texas,now 5 years in Michigan.

Car shops scam a lot and there's really no way in knowing if they are telling the truth or not about your car. I've now recently found a guy who does this off the side as extra money and he charges half of what the shop would charge and his fixes seem to last much,much longer than any car shop i've been in.He'll call me back in 24 hours and shoot me straight how long it's gonna take him and exactly what is wrong.I haven't found somebody like him my entire life,so i consider him a blessing! I've had my gas fuel head repaired 3 times in 10 years....each time cost me $600+.Everybody i know tells me it's a rare thing to be breaking that much and ask me if it's really getting fixed like it should. :-/ I've gotten to the point i'm completely fed up with auto shops.

Around 30... :'( Most of them were smallmouths. I had a horrible year. :-/

Muddy i love the way you think. And i couldn't agree more! Getting a bad item straight from the store i can understand,but breaking something(on user's own) then returning it and getting another one free i can't. I wish they would crack down on this stuff.It's basically stealing if you think about it.

After 5 years of this Michigan weather I'm ready to move back down to Texas... ;D Yuck at the reminder of what's coming this winter.

Alrighty,heading out today as i was extremely sick sunday and slept through the entire day. Who wants this next? Going to start top of the list and give a 24 hour wait before i get an answer and move on to the next person on list. Update....Caught nothing,the water was extremely low and nothing seemed to bite.Me being sick didn't help much either as i really couldn't pay attention to what i was doing. Weather is about to get worst here as the week progresses into the weekend.Looks like i'll be staying home for awhile now.

Happens to the best of us. Try having what seems like a personal best throw your tube,then for the rest of the season you can't seem to find any bigger fish over 1 pound. Almost like a curse.That's how my fishing went since late spring/early summer.

Ain't safe at all. That's how i feel about people on cell phones driving too. My work has actually banned cell phone usage while in plant.I've actually almost seen somebody get hit while the drivers are talking on cell phones.

They aren't the worst reels people tend to make them out to be. I have a accurist PT and actually like it.

Going to ice fish with a buddy of mine. Fill a 3600 plano box full of homemade inline spinners.Should be a fun project for the winter.

Great action...still ain't caught anything on it yet though. Weights only 3/4 oz so it can be cast on a heavy rod.

Fathead jr. These are anything but small for me. I fish these with a keel weight 6/0 hook. I'm inexperience when it comes to swimbaits...I'm still shaky when it comes to fishing $20+ swimbaits yet.Want to break this next year if i can ever save up for a swimbait set-up.

I don't see how it's gonna work....It's a bit more difficult casting a crankbait on a stiff rod with a fast tip. I prefer a moderate action rod for treble lures.

Alrighty,shorefisher PM'ed me and i'm going to give it a chance before it freezes over here.The bite has been non-existence for me the pass few weeks. I'm gonna try and fish all next weekend and will be sending it out after the weekend. I need to know if anybody wants to give it a try after me.Winter's coming so let me know who wants this passed on so i can get it out when i finish.

It's getting to that time of the year for me...end of October is probably gonna do it for me...unless the weather holds to 50's till December.It's almost impossible for me to hit deeper ends from shore. This year was horrible for me as far as bass fishing went.I'm a little disappointed how my season turned out to the least say. I'm going ice fishing with a buddy of mine this year for yellow perch and walleyes.My first ice fishing trip and I'm actually looking forward to it. I retired my curado 100 till next season....i barely have any line left on it anyways. ;D

Jake p.,when i was in Tx. we just got settled in and had some neighbor kids help us move a little.I asked what they wanted and they said "coke" so that what i got them and then they looked at me and said "oh we wanted some dr.pepper".....Talk about confusing.....I hated that. And just to confuse some people i also say "fountain drink". ;D

Berkley lighting and cherrywood rods can be found at local walmarts for around $20-$30.If you are on a tight budget these are the rods that will do the job. Get a medium action rod in the 6'6"-7' range. If you find an abu garcia rods which i have one and it's a decent cheap rod i picked up from walmart as well.I think i picked that one up at 1/2 off so i got it for around $15. As for reels pick up any spinning reels and kinda play with them....I don't have the best luck with cheaper spinning reels as most of them didn't last more than a year for me.

Works for me just about 80% of the time.Rooster explained it pretty well enough. I saved quite a bit of money over the last 2 years because of the technique. The more exposed your hook is the lesser chance of it working.
