A Shoutout for NH Fishermen!!!
nice fish fuzzy Man am I frustrated. Just looked at the weather for the next week in NH, and every day that I can go out has lighting storms and everyday that i'm working is nice and sunny. I love to fish in the rain but not in lightning. Just cancelled for tomorrow with a buddy after checking the weather. don't want to drive all the way out to pick him up, then to the lake just to be stuck at the ramp all morning. Sucks >

Is it ignorance or laziness?
I will gladly admit that I am one of those people who often do not capitolize "i" when I should. I also make spelling errors on occasion. However, as some food for thought, I work in the investment industry and am often sending quick messages back and forth to co-workers through a message system. In this instance speed is more important then grammer. The use of shorthand, bad grammer, and leaving out punctuation is actually a benefit. The faster and shorter that I can type something the better. my mistake habits from instant messenger and forums actually gives me an advantage in this type of work. Who woulda thunk it ;D

How much does it weigh Part II
wow, this thread sure goes to show you how hard it is to guess a fish's weight, we guesses ranging from 4.5 to 9.5 pounds. :-?

Make the Elite Series Elite
I agree that the camera's wouldn't work, but it definitely isn't because of water concerns. Anyone ever watch Deadliest catch? I'm pretty sure that there are quality camera's out there that can get wet without a problem.

A Shoutout for NH Fishermen!!!
NEbassmaster, welcome to the forum. Baboosic, thanks for the good trip out. Nothing big but we did pretty good w/ numbers after awhile. and thanks for the carolina rig confidence. Even though we didn't catch anything big, the last trip was really good for me because i was finally able to fish offshore w/ confidence and catch fish consistantly. The carolina rig really helped w/ this since i was able to really feel what was going on w/ my bait. Once i located an a weed bed in about 12 feet of water we started catching consistantly

fish per acre?
Thanks everyone. That's all the info I needed. i wasn't really looking for specifics, just a real general idea. More just to solve my curiousity then anything else. Since the small pond i fih can average many 20 fish days, even if they aren't all huge, i always wondered how many fish look at my bait and just turn away or ignore it, and the answer is a whole lot more then i realized. Good info as always. Thanks peeps

Worst tackle investment you have made...
LOL. Not sure my wife would have stuck around long enough for the earrings! ;D That's quite a list you got there; but you didn't mention your Flowbee. (for cuttin' your own hair) b Don't knock the flowbee, saved my family a whole lot of money in haircuts over the years when i was a kid. My dad became a flowbee magician over the years. Storm baits and every scent i have ever bought. not because they don't work, but because I buy them and then get to lazy to keep adding the scent. Every year I try the new hot scent and every year it ends up sitting in the side of my tacklebox never seening the light of day

fish per acre?
Out of curiousity, how many fish per acre, some other measurement, is average in a lake. For example I fish a lake 139 acres large and with a max of 15 foot deep. how many bass are probably in this pond? I know that there are many enviromental factors, but just trying to get a rough estimate. Just wondering how much of the fish population is caught over and over again, or are there just more bass in the water then i would ever expect

I'm done.
war and peace. NO joke, i know it's super long, but if you can get past the first 150 pages or so that introduce the characters, it is one of the greatest books ever written. in the same vein as 1984 try Brave New World as well. Remains of the Day, is another classic. To many books, to little time

Dark Knight
I agree with the penquin and Mr Freeze. but i think the riddler could be done right if they made him a little darker and not as campy.

Anyone have any guidance on Zara Spook colors?
i like clear colors as long as the water isn't really dark. clear w/ green back or clear w/ blue work well for me generally
