I seriously hate the winter. Especially this time of year when it gets warm enough every now and then to tease you. I wore shorts, t-shirt and flip-flops yesterday. High in the freaking 80's. Right now its 31 and feels like 18.
  2. I'll pass. Do you put Jolly Ranchers in your Zima to? Laughing at myself. I just remembered the whole exploding thing.
  3. Congrats!
  4. Fair enough, i'm going to bed. Heres to the sexy trout craze!
  5. Btw, what has Abu change about their bearings since you made this post back in July?
  6. ^^^Totally disagree. They came up with a great color name for a bait. Everyone that was going to be hooked is already hooked. There in nothing super original about the color. People that like Strike King baits or that went nuts about Sexy Shad color will continue to buy. Imo, they will not see a huge influx of new customers b/c of the color. Sexy Shad, even though a great name, wasn't even really that new of a color scheme. Like I said b4 I don't blame them for trying. In fact if I owned the company I would do the same thing. I just think they hit it out of the park with the original name and will not duplicate the success on the same level.
  7. Granted I'm an old member of Team Pampers, but I've done that in the last couple of months.
  8. Burley, Like I said I like most Strike King products so I'm well aware that they coined the best color name in many years, sexy shad. I thought my post was pretty clear that I realized Strike King came up with the name, but if you will feel better just re-read it and where I say copy sub further the or capitalize on.
  9. My Curado D bearings were so good they discontinued them after a year or so. Seriously though I love most of Strike King's products, but that is a very lame attempt to copy the Sexy Shad craze. I don't blame them a bit, but I"m not rushing out to buy any. Sexy Shad was an ingenious name that has now flooded the market place and I'll bet they don't see near the return on this new color b/c of the complete lack of originality. Not that the original sexy shad color was ground breaking, but it was new and had a cool name.
  10. Whatever you fish, fish slow. Plastics are at their worst in the winter. However, if that is your confidence, like it is mine, fish it slow. I would rather fish a bait that I have confidence in than a bait that I didn't think I could catch anything on, but if you can fish a jig, slow roll a spinnerbait, yo-yo a lipless crankbait/swimbait or jerkbait with any confidence I would consider those better options.
  11. Dan, I think he was saying he caught them from his bank. It is a little annoying though how many people always seem to chime in about the immigrants. I guess they make an easy target.
  12. It certainly can keep me from buying something.
  13. Texas is on fire right now. Choke Canyon just set a lake record as well 15lbs something.

Both will be good, but I would go with the Paca as well. Btw, witch is spelled which. Several people have asked you to check spelling and make more concise posts. Your refusal to even use the spell check is annoying, and is going to lead to people starting to ignore your posts. I'm not trying to pick on you. You can learn a ton here but if you continue the way you are going people are going to start tuning you out.
  15. Its one of the best baits ever made. I like to get the *** version the ***. They already have a garlic scent and have the color option of chart. or blue tails. Ready to use right out of the pack, not to mention they are a forum sponsor and cosiderably cheaper. They work great on t-rig and are excellent trailers as well. Please work on your post composition. I'm not one to get bent out of shape if theres a few misspelled words or other errors, but your posts are very difficult to understand.
  16. I swore I was going to all Revo's, but that deal is making it hard not to get one or two. I've resisted so far.
  17. Excellent post 1) 6'6"-7', M, mod. fast, for shallow- mid cranks, traps and light spinners 2) 7'-7'6" MH, mod fast, for mid to deep cranks , traps and heavy spinners 3) 7' M-MH, fast to X-fast action, <1/2 t-rigs, weightless t-rigs, spinners 4) 7'-7'6" MH, fast to X-fast action, > 1/2 oz t-rigs, c-rigs, jigs, light swimbaits and spinners 5) Would depend on the time of year, lake and what kind of fishing I thought I would be doing. Probably a dedicated swimbait rod or walk the dog topwater rod
  18. I'm not sure about the comparision of the H20 baits to lucky craft, but I will say that the H20 baits are an excellent value. I'm not giving up my LC's, but I fish the H20's as well.
  19. I'm not the biggest fan of braid when fishing deep with a lot of cover. Lose to many baits due to hang up. I would throw 15-20lb P-Line CXX.
  20. congratulations! Nice fish.
  21. Have you checked the water level in the batteries. If they are a year old and you've never checked them there is a chance they are dry.
  22. I will give all that a shot. Thanks, I bet one of those things will get it.
  23. I'm sure it was but I didn't check. I never take it out. B/C of the time being wrong I think its something that needs to be reset. Maybe my partner or I hit a button that messed something up.
  24. Yes, I pushed exit. Ray Roberts wasn't where I was previously.
