  1. A-jay with words of wisdom not only for home buying but for life
  2. The thing about looking yourself if you are using realtor.com or zillow.com type sites you are days behind the listings in the realtor search page. Only realtor have access to it, but they can setup searches to email you when something matches. This happens as soon as it's listed. In a sellers market this can be the difference between getting a place or missing it.
  3. Just a sellers market, it is tough to find things in time. Have your realtor add a search to the realtor listings for you with your criteria and email you. Any new listings will be on there days before anything else. Also just shave your head, easier than pulling it all out.....
  4. They are dumping 2017 models now....trucks of 2018 are coming in....how I got my 2017 f150 3.5 eco with an msrp of 52k for 37k. Deals are out there now.
  5. There won't be any difference with different braids in regards to slack line sensitivity. The issues is the make up of braid itself, its strong and thin but also not dense. Not being dense the vibration does not travel as well along it. I would be suspect on the mod-fast rod, and hookset itself. Jigs tend to have thicker hooks which take more energy to dig in good especially if you hit a bonier area of the jaw.
  6. It should be fine, just remember to take it easy. Stopping distance is going to be noticeably longer. Try to get a tow package which includes a trans cooler also. And have to agree with CroakHunter, the ecoboost option is great. My 2017 with 470ft lbs of torque is great, and getting 20.8mpg in all driving, have not been able to check highway miles do not spend much time on them and usually towing.
  7. Take a look at Chris Bailey foil's, a lot nicer product and works great. Will get you up on plane easier and you can stay on plane at a lot lower speeds. My RT188 will stay on place at 18mph.
  8. Max out the engine unless on restricted places.
  9. my boat is less than a year old so not really an issue but just an fyi. The Ultrex comes with a metal core pull rope. No dealing with regular cord
  10. We all have vices and demons, that statement by a child proves the man you are. Standing O for you!!!
  11. Personally, of those two, I would do private side also to get access, the cold side is still within an easy tow when you want to go over there. Honestly If I really had the option I would pick Gaston.....
  12. Another option would be have it hydro-dipped, can do the carbon fiber look or a ton of other looks.
  13. Jamison RedBreast Irish whiskey...
  14. It gets very hot in summer, and the fishing is hard. But in winter it is outstanding. There are no public ramps, you have to own a property, know someone or rent a place. Cold side is much larger and offers decent fishing year round. But during the summer months is pretty much a zoo of pleasure boaters, jet ski's and wave runners.
  15. I have an Ranger RT188, basically the same boat, and love it. It is my first boat also and been learning this year. It fishes great, and this one already has hydraulic steering which helps.
  16. Woohoo Maryland

It is early but something to keep an eye on. This could get ugly for the east coast. https://www.wxrisk.com/sept-1-hurricane-irma-data-seems-to-be-favoring-at-east-coast-track-threat/
  18. Now that is awesome, congrats!!!!!
  19. I guess the mouser's are not working tonight
  20. Any points with deeper water, may be time to get offshore.
  21. 2017 F150 with the 3.5 Ecoboost and 10 speed trans. Got to love the power (470ft-lbs of torque) and how smooth it is with the 10 speed. After about 1600 miles, 55 of those highway, 140 towing my boat, I am averaging 20.3mpg.
  22. My year started off with a partially torn MCL, to many weeks away from fishing. Painful after buying a boat, finally, at the end of last year. Right when fishing was heating up I was out of action. Had to go by the boat in the garage every day knowing I could not be in it was no fun at all. Be patient and listen to the docs, coming back to soon is to much of a risk of making things work. Heal up and come back strong, good luck.
  23. Worked on a family friends farm doing raspberry, strawberry, corn, fire wood, then xmas wreathes. Got me fishing gear, first car and first year of college.
  24. Will not make any difference...
  25. Chevy vs. Ford...personal preference choice.
