  1. After Basser89's recommendation (I know I know taking recommendations from a Quantum guy may not be the best choice ;D ) a few months ago I tried 17lb Seige. I like it, it has performed well. Do have the coiling issue sometimes, but treating with KVD line treatment has helped.
  2. I have a 7ft M Vendetta baitcast, it has been a good rod. Right I have a Revo S on it with 12lb yozuri hybrid. Honestly for a little more money my Falcon Bucco is much better. This is assuming you are referring to baitcasters, I don't personally have a spinning version but have heard some less then good things about them.
  3. Falcon Bucoo, its on the upper end of your range but very much worth it.
  4. I agree with DVT, but also think the Bucoo is a better rod in general. Am very impressed with mine.
  5. Not a simple answer, a lot depends on the conditions. Both weather and the condintion of the water.
  6. I was there and don't know what is up with the cheese reference.... ;D Got out with Basser89 on saturday morning, he got one small LM and I skunked. This spot usually produces a few for me but not that morning. Night fishing is at BH, its a good time if you can make it. Still trying to find someone to go out with.
  7. Love my Citica 200e, compared to my Revo S I prefer the Citica easily. I also have a Citica 200d, works great my only complaints are the size and weight of it.
  8. With a spinner I also wouldn't let them take it for a second. Set the hook as soon as you feel the strike.
  9. Love me some cheez-wiz..... Was a little surprised we couldn't find some bigger fish on that point but we didn't do to bad for 4 hours of fishing. Hoping to get out for night fishing next week, right now don't have anyone to go out with. Not doing it from the shore, hopefully find a open back seat with someone.
  10. He is just trying to clarify the information provided, makes it a lot easier to provide a good answer. The contradiction is you start off by saying you tried the knot on 10 and 12 pound mono. The 3rd sentence starts with "I haven't tried it yet". You left out trying the knot was at home. But to answer you question, I haven't tried this specific knot. But if I have no confidence in how it looks at home I will not use it while fishing.
  11. I have actually caught some nice fish on them, wacky rigged and flipped beside standing trees. Definitely not my first choice but it has worked....
  12. Already picked up one of the Quantum Superlite's....

I am a member of FOBA,which dmaldo mentioned earlier in this thread. The age minimum is 15 in our club. Each club can set there own rules so you will get different answers. Check the websites for clubs in your area.
  14. Let the jig fall on a slack line, but pay attention as the bait sinks. A lot of bites happen during this time.
  15. Mark, I live in Germantown and fish Little Seneca Lake at Black Hills Park a lot. If you have any questions about it just let me know. My schedule with work, school, kid and wifes 40th birthday is a little tied up right now so can't really say when I will be there the next time though...
  16. Yeah, everything is fine, no damage. Just freaked people out, we don't get earthquakes here often. Most didn't know what was going on until they checked the news.
  17. Plenty of Incredibles?? It took 3 1/2 weeks for VZW to send mine. Got it on Tuesday.
  18. Got woke up about 5:04 this morning, odd rumbling sound and pictures on the wall started to vibrate. Got to work to see the news, it was a 3.7 magnitude earthquake. It was centered about a mile from my house. Small by Cali standards but big news around here, first one I have felt in my life.
  19. I love my Bucoo, I have a Citica 200e on it.
  20. aut0, What is going on with the story about the Droid X having the eFUSE set to self-destruction if a user attempts to mod the phone? Seems to be an issue for the geek crowd, and potential security risk if hackers find a way to purposely set off the self-destruct "feature".
  21. I just switched from a blackberry storm to a Droid incredible its freaking great. There is a lot of stuff to learn but you won't be disappointed
  22. Yes the fans are going overboard, but that is not exactly unusual for fans. I find it rather funny and odd sometimes how people think the home team in any sport actually affects there lives. I don't believe he made this choice based off of winning championships. The better choice of that would have been Chicago. With the lineup they had, and adding Boozer they would be an instant contender. In Miami they have to figure out a team to go around these 3. With the money spent on these 3 it will be difficult. It seems a little bit of a stretch but making sense now. During the Olympics Wade, Bosh, and Lebron agreed, along with Chris Paul, to play on the same team when each was a free agent. Chris Paul comes up next season. A little hard to believe it could happen but almost there. And the hiring or film crews by all 3 this year makes it seem like this was all planned ahead of time.
  23. I have a 7ft M Vendetta and a 7ft MH Bucoo, in comparing those two the Bucoo wins very easily. The only caveat I would add is the Bucoo, listed as a MH, feels more like a M. I don't have a Lowrider so I can't comment on it.
  24. Man I wish I had a boat to take you out, I imagine you will find someone.
