Poll:favorite lure type
I went topwater cause that is just plain FUN!!!! It may not be the most productive but its my favorite, nothing like a topwater hit!!!! If you mean most productive I would say plastic worm or other plastics.

FAT RAPS DISAPEARING LIKE THEY ARE GOLD!!!!!
I was at Dicks and wanted to get a couple subwalks but they didnt have any but I did get a couple X rap slashbaits. These new Xrap series are really good looking lures. I dont think LC's have anything on them and they are half the price. Oh and BTW my Dicks has ALL rapalas 20% off

Norman Thin N?
I picked one up at Dicks today as well. Look great

what do you use?
to general of a question. Would need to know what types and weights lures your using, what type of pattern, water condtions etc etc... But I would say you cant go wrong with something like 20lb braid for an all around line. Great strength, small diameter for long casts and very sensitive for worms and jigs. If braid isnt your thing a good flouro, co-poly or mono in the 15-18lb would be a good start

Heres what I got. What should I get??
So I picked up a MBR 782c GLX couldnt pass it up. Dont know that it helps me or not, just couldnt let it go for $200?? So heres what I got Stradic 2500fh on a Avid 6'6 MHF 8-17lb 1/4-3/4 Calcutta 300te on a Legend Tourny 7'9 swimbait rod HF 17-30 1-4oz Steez 103ha on a MBR 844 GLX HF Citica 200d on an Avid 7' MF 10-17lb 1/4-3/4 Citica 100dsv on MBR 782 GLX The spinning and swimbait setup are all set. Do you think I should switch any of the remaining 3 setups around as far as what reel on what rod. I think the 844 will be for jigs, carolina rigs, frogs and anything that I may throw into heavy cover, whatever it may be. The 782 I was thinking for spinnerbaits, cranks, topwaters and maybe plastics?? That leaves the Avid for jerkbaits maybe? I feel like the Avid and 782 are similar and not sure if I should swap the Avid out for something just for senkos and plastics and just use the 782 as a hardbait rod?? Any more help is appreciated

You never know what to believe. I heard it came form the Agawam mill pond river in brackish water. And he was afraid they wouldnt count it cause it came in salt water.

Heres what I got. What should I get??
I have been intrigued by the carrot stix. For cranks/jerks it wold be mostly shallow runners 10ft max as most ponds I fish are too weedy. Could this also make a good spinnerbait rod?

Best set-up for heavy cover?
I live in Rehoboth and work in North Attleboro ... about 4 miles from Bass Pro. My only issue with the baitcaster is making the adjustments with those tab things on the inside of the reel, I can never seem to get it right ... and I can only cast it less than half the distance I can cast my spinning. I am in Brockton. I just started using baitcaster again this past year and it will take some practice but you will be better off. And like someone said when fishing the heavy cover you dont want long cast anyways. You can certainly get a spinning setup that will fit your needs if you feel you dont want to move up to casting gear. BUt theres a reason you see all the pros using them

Heres what I got. What should I get??

Heres what I got. What should I get??
Alright the Berkelys are history!! I kinda feel like all my setups are similar? What would you guys be using each setup for? Do I need and extra fast rod, do I need a medium tip rod? I would like to start throwing more cranks and jerkbaits.

Heres what I got. What should I get??

Heres what I got. What should I get??
Heres ny arsenal Stradic 2500fh on a Avid 6'6 MHF 8-17lb 1/4-3/4 Calcutta 300te on a Legend Tourny 7'9 swimbait rod HF 17-30 1-4oz Steez 103ha on a MBR 844 GLX HF Citica 200d on an Avid 7' MF 10-17lb 1/4-3/4 Citica 100dsv on the way need a rod suggestion!! I throw alot of soft plastics, all kinds. weightless and weighted. I want to start jigging and cranking (not real deep) and other techniques like Carolina rigs, drop shots. With what I got what should I be using them for. Should I switch anything out or around? Also need a rod for the citica 100 on the way.

Best set-up for heavy cover?
Where you from? You can great great setup for that money. I would hate to see you spend it on a baitcaster if you end up hating it though. Although I believe it is a better setup for that type of fishing than spinning gear. Lots of great reels in the $100-$150 range which should leave you with $100-$150 for a rod. A Citica on Crucial rod should be able to fit your budget. I have a Citica and and its awesome!!! Great begginers reel. And the Crucial rods are supposed to be great as well

Best set-up for heavy cover?
Heavy rod, straight braided line, at least 30lb NO leader, you only need a leader if fishing clear water IMO if at all, and a good powerful reel that you can crank the drag down on and it wont slip so you can pull a fish out of it. Are you sticking to spinning setup or going to baitcaster as most will suggest
