Senshi is a fantastic line but I've found it's abrasion resistance to be far from adequate. I love it for deep/open water fishing, but if I'm in any kind of timber or rocks, it's a heartbreak waiting to happen.

The GLX 803 in my experience is quite a bit faster than the NRX and every bit as sensitive. I found it to be a pretty good spinnerbait/swim jig rod, though I like the NRX a little better for the same application. Overall, it's really gonna serve you well with single hook baits in the 3/16 to ~1/2 oz range. I haven't a clue about your other rod, but I'm sure someone will chime in on it.

I had an 803 GLX but upgraded to an 803 NRX. The NRX is not quite as fast as the GLX. Both make outstanding spinnerbait/swim jig rods. I'm not real crazy about using XF for senkos, but they work just fine for them.

I'd be willing to bet that's something's up with the spring washers. Either they're installed wrong or not at all.

It's that feeling when the hook is set and the rod loads up. Not much in this world feels better than that. I just can't get enough of it.
