I'm almost positive I'll be back there in a few weeks My boy has already ask to go back He really liked all of you and wanted to know when we could all do it again. Thank all of you for a great time.

I've just finished cutting the grass and tended to a few other chores, so I'm good to go.

By the by, did anyone catch a drum?   I'm ready to bequeath my title of drum major to someone else.  I'll find a jacket to a drum major's outfit, and we can have an official changing of the guard at the next road trip.   Could be an annual happening at the soiree.

That award may go to me.  Gene has a picture I do believe.   If I remember right it was a little over 8lbs.

Drum Major Siebert; front and center

Thanks All  ;)  For the two days I could be there, I had a great time with all of you as well! Sharing a day on the water with Ghoti and then Long Mike was a blast and KOOL memories from both days for sure  :)  Believe it or not, it was a much needed relaxing couple of days for me after a 6 day Fla jaunt. Accomodations were terrific and THANKS to everyone there for the FUN and FRIENDSHIP

Made it to Lexington Sunday evening. Rained most of the way - I think it was following me around!

Am now healing from my various mishaps - I'm doing better than my old trolling motor for sure! With the help of Medicare I should be healed in time for next year.

Thanks to all for a great Road Trip:

Glenn=thanks for finally drawing my number for the cool TUFFLINE fishing cap.

Keri-thanks for drinking only white wine--leaving more red wine for the rest of us.

Big-O-thanks for all the great info and for helping me get damaged trolling motor stowed.

LM, 00Mod, and other trip cords-thanks for another great one.

Ghoti-best soiree ever-food and wine were excellent.

RW -thanks for cooking the burgers--the ones with the special Memphis blend-and for breakfast.

Ronnie- the Cajun eats were great as usual. And thanks for helping me get old trolling motor stowed --also thanks for getting me on my feet at the ramp so I would'nt have to be put down.

Pro-crafter--thanks for being our Cabin 3 chauffer. Next year we will get you a proper driver's hat.

Rhino-thanks for teaching me how to disguise that I am actually trolling from the back of the boat--I can use it in the Bassmaster Opens.

00Mod - thanks for sharing all those hot fishing spots - sorry you had to make a premature withdrawal.....from the road trip.

Let me know if I missed anyone. Won't matter-just be good to know.

AYE!

ps-Glenn - pics on way soon.

Is he sick and tired of fishing on one of the greatest bass fisheries in the U.S.? You spoiled the poor fella.

He hasn't had a largemouth drag him around the boat three times yet at Gville. I'm sure it had something to do with all the great company and how well everybody treated him.

Zip, your son is AWESOME!

Great time meeting you BOTH!!!

We can do it like the Masters does it, passing off the green jacket. I like it!

Oh, BTW..... AYE!

I'm already planning how to make the next one! I can't wait for Glenn's announcement on the location! :)

I have very little to add to all of the above comments.  I had a GREAT trip, on a GREAT fishery with GREAT old friends and met GREAT new ones.  As I do every year, I'm looking forward to next year's trip.  I'm very sorry that so many of our active members were unable to attend.  Maybe next year.

Got back this AM (Weds) at 0015 hrs and tired as heck but, it is a good tired as I had the opportunity to meet and fish with a great group of folks who share the same appreciation for the sport as me and will spend countless hours in persuit of those green and brown critters!! have hours of video and stills to download and organize....if anyone is trying to get ahold of me via the phone list do not use that number it is the Emergency contact number....just IM me here or email scudman93@aol.com . to jump on with Rhino...AYE!! and will be planning to attend nexts years event!!!

Only three times?  Dinky must be slipping.

If we do hamburgers again next year, or any other dinner they will go well with, LOL.  I will pitch in my totally awesome baked beans - recipe starts with 1lb of bacon...what could possibly be wrong with a recipe that starts like that, huh?

Any recipe starting with a pound of bacon is going to be great. Bring "em on!

Catch any fish there?

Yep. After the rain finally stopped the fishing was a blast but the water was muddy.
