How do you like the Bersa? It's on my list but not in any hurry to buy anything at the moment.

unageo09, The Bersa fits nicely in my hand and, although I haven't put a ton of rounds thru it, it has never jammed, and it's pretty accurate. I bought it as an alternative to a LCP. It won't break the bank either.

A couple Colt Pythons.

I am a sucker for wheel guns, and if you could compare guns to watches, these two beauties are the Rolex of revolvers.

Smith revolvers are amazing, but in my humble opinion, Colt pythons and Korth revolvers are the best ever made!!

Some of the the older Smiths did rival the Python in build quality, but most would agree they just didn't have the look of the Python, and Colt had the edge in bluing as well. In their prime no one could match Colts finishes, their bluing was amazing, and made even more impressive when you consider the number of pistols they were building at the time.

Korths are on even another level, I'd like to own one someday, but it would defiantely be pretty far down the road.

I had an LCP and didn't like it. The thing kicked pretty bad and the trigger pull was just insane so I traded up to the SR9c. I'd still like a little .380 and the Bersa would fit my budget and would make a nice pocket pistol.

My newest addition. I love having a blank slate to work with. I ordered a new slide cover today for it. Next its getting a titanium guide rail, and chrome pins and extractor. Once I get some cash saved up I will start working on the trigger and its parts. Might get her a paint job first. Im not sure yet. Here's a pic. That's 33 rounds in my new girl.

That 19 looks like a gen 4. I can't fully tell though.

  • Super User

It is RNF.

Not a bad way to spend 5 to 6 hundred bucks. :)

I want a gen 4 really bad. I like the grips a ton. I just keep finding the gen 3s for a lot less. Maybe when I finish working on my new one I will upgrade to a gen 4. Again sweet glock.

See Raider, that's why you gotta work p/t at a big box store.

I think I get a Glock per year around 350 or so. ;) I got a brand new S&W M&P 9 for 200 bones earlier this year.

Now that ain't even fair. I could make me some dang good cash tricking stuff out for those prices. That's easily an extra 250 to 300 I could pocket. That's not even doing anything to it. :(

I'm jealous now. Probably get rifles dirt cheap too.

How do you like that 2022?

  • Super User

I like it a lot, kind of a poor man's 226.

The trigger is 10x smoother than a bone stock 226. If it wasn't for that bastardized 250, the 20 series would have taken off much better.
