What would be your fav lure if you were a bass?

Featured Replies

So if you were a bass what lure would appeal to you the most?  Maybe a buzzbait skitting across the surface?  Maybe a crankbait?  For me it would probably be a topwater frog.  I love frog legs, and I could really bust a topwater frog.  Get that "I killed it" feeling.  Im curious to see what people say on this.

if i were a bass my favorite lure would probably be one without hooks!!!  ;D

I have to say if I where a bass, a slow running Mattlures Baby Bluegill would be the most tasty looking. They look so real its not even funny.

but seriously i would probably like the blue fox vibrax minnows that have a balsa body with a spinner blade or maybe even a frog as u said

If I were a Bass my lure of choice would have to be an good old LIZARD!!

I suppose I would fall for a GYCB Twin Tail Hula Grub. I know my dog tries to eat them all the time on the boat. ;D ;D ;D

If I were a bass, you asked ??? Probably like a spinnerbait, or a crankbait, because I'd never be caught on one ;-)

My most hated lure would be a Huddleston trout, because that would get me stuck in no time !

Peace,

Fish

If I were a bass, I would have been in the frying pan before I turned 2 ;D  Probably would have eaten a yellow and black bettle spin thrown by some 7 year old.

I would definitely go with one of those realistic crawfish lures, i love the looks of those things as is  ;D, so basically any soft craw bait number prob. zum crawbug

I bought this weird lure called "The Creature" (looks like a crawdad with a skirt and rattle beads) because I thought the way you're asking.  Never caught a fish on it, though.

Either a Spro Bronzeye frog slowly crawled through my lily pad lair, or a zoom trick worm lathered up in megastrike just sitting there, shaking its tail at me.

I think I would love a big fat spro bronzeye frog with the hooks removed of course.

If I were a bass, I would eat lobster everyday!!!

Since my eyes are bigger than my stomach, I guess the number one caviar for bass would be crawfish.

Matt.

For some reason I dont think I would be into a senko much.  Just so boring.  Ha I'd probably go baby duck hunting  and P.O. a  muskie  ;D

I'd probably go after one of those novelty lures, like the old Heddon Big Bud.

I'd probably hit a weightless bubblegum trick worm fished like a jerkbait. Those things are sexy in the water

Topwater no doubt.  Probably a Gatta-X.   ;D

Every time I'm vacationing in the south I always feast on mud bugs, so I guess it would be a crawdad for me.

Falcon

Megabass vision 110 in some crazy rare color. It's like lobster stuffed with filet mignon stuffed with caviar.

If I were a bass I'd eat my children and stay away from the lures.  Go with what you know.

Rapala DT4 in red craw crankbait since it stuck me in the finger already.  Reaching for a rod in  the rod box.
