Ok I'm looking for what line test you gals and guys use on your baitcasting reels. To me they don't feel right with a lighter test. So I'm looking for an average test of what everyone here uses??

I like 12 mono. I have gone lighter than that but never heavier.

I use either 10 or 12lbs fluorocarbon line on the majority of my bait casting reels.

My lightest is #6 Yo-Zuri Hybrid (11.95 lb breaking strength); heaviest is #65 Kanzen braid.

However, if you are looking for just one line, #12 is what I would recommend for a wide range

of applications.

Like the others, the range is wide from  6 to 20 lb is what you will find, but you can say that 10 &12 lb are the most common ones in mine.

I guess it all depends on the reel, the rod, what you plan to use it for, and where.  My standard weights (mono) are 8 lb. for Medium rods and 12 lb. for MH rods.  However, I range from 6 lb. XL on a Light to 55 lb. braid on a MH.  Heaviest mono I am currently using is 17 lb. on a Heavy.  Can't see going even that heavy in my area.  I'd rather switch over to braid if I needed line that strong.

15# floro for shallow, mid range cranks and plastic's.

Heaviest is 80# superline for umbrella rigs and frogs

 

Most have 50# superline that is 10# mono equivelent diameter.

I only throw 4 poles at once.  Two of those are baitcasters.

 

Both have 50 LB power pro. 8 or 12 lb fluoro leaders.

 

I never noticed much difference in line digging in the reel, but I did notice it was harder to cast thinner diameter braids.

I must have small hands, I can only throw one at a time.

Just a heads-up dont overfill the spinning reels with the braid. Line line will catch on itself  pull off next layer of line and you have nest/tangle so beware. 

Two of my baitcasters (Abu Garcia LTX and LTZ) have 6 and 8 lb Floro but they are Super shallow spools so they can handle throwing baits upto 1/16oz. The other ones I have range from 12lb to 20lb.

I have average sized hands.  Just 4 arms!

Most of mine have 15lb flourocarbon that I jig fish with.

on my baitcasters i either have 50lb braid which is 12lb diameter or 14lb mono / floro

spinnning rod for me always has 30lb braid which is 8lb diameter i believe
