At 3:43pm today, I missed this post.

  Umm I guess I should have been more specific ...such as fishing...Like whats usually missed or not toucht tht often

That its about having a good time and enjoying the activity and the surroundings regardless if you catch anything or not..

They miss the fact they are out enjoying a hobby. And other people are out enjoying the same hobby as them and there is no reason to be an ass to each other. Some guys treat this stuff like they got the bassmaster classic on the line and they gotta be where someone is and that guy is an idiot cause he found a spot with his 14' tin boat and not a 21 foot glass boat and blah blah blah blah ive heard it all on the rivers around here. one guy couldnt believe i wouldnt pull anchor and give him the spot after he spent an hour crowding into me. I found out later the guy waited till i left and came back and tore up his fancy boat trying to jump a cable that we were catching fish on......

The #1 thing most bass anglers miss is what the fish are actually doing at that moment. Too many of us (myself included) fish history, or approach a day based on what they think the fish should be doing. Instead...

On serious note though im going with what glen posted.. fish the moment , 

 

also try bigger baits you might get a bigger fish, than using the same small baits all the time.. go out of your comfort zone try something new!

Some good points, fishing memories is almost always a big mistake. We talk about fishing outside water and over 90% of bass anglers will never go further away from shore then the distance of a cast. I talk about seasonal periods a lot, few anglers consider how this affects bass location.

The biggest misconception is the belief you can catch bass when they are inactive.

I fish the same structure with the same lure as I did 45 years ago and still kick bass.
