I landed in Aurora abd Rockfod and partially in Detroit. Not sure i like any of that considering they're all dumps for the most part. Lol

I took it a second time. First time was Chicago, Aurora, and Minneapolis/St Paul. Second time was Chicago, Aurora, Rockford. I answered one of the questions slightly different on the second test and it asked me a couple new questions that weren't on there the first time.

My location said laying in bed half asleep. The thing is uncanny!

I took it twice it nailed me to Rockford both times. But also to where I have relatives in Springfield MO Witchita KS in first test. 2nd test had a few different questions and got Louiville Lexington KY where I have relatives nearby those.

It told me, Mobile, Tallahassee, and Oklahoma City.  Interestingly, I took this a few weeks ago and it told me Richmond-Augusta and Miami.  I grew up in Dallas, spent 5 years in Colorado, spent a few years in an around Oklahoma City, went out of the country for a while, then spent time in Georgia, and finally California for the past several years.  I think I just generally confused the hell outta that survey.

lololololol... I could take the test but I have a feeling there Is no doubt I would get some kind of reply having to do with: "Is that English".

You might say I have a Southern accent.

Hey whit, I'm almost certain it said that to me

I was labeled as philly and I am sure that hoagie and mischief night had something to do with it.....currently residing in virginia for about 14 of the last 18 years though but i guess where you grow up sticks with you for a while :)

I have lived in Florida for 25 years but it pegged me in Greensboro which is 45 miles from Statesville, NC, where I was raised. Amazing.  I read somewhere that your vocabulary and speech patterns are pretty much set by age 12 and dominated by your friends language, not your parents.

I could finally get on today, the beginning of a new month.

It had me in Providence, Boston, Worcester area.  I'm a half hour east of Providence, an hour south of Boston, and a little over an hour southeast of Worcester.  They could not have been closer.  Those are the major cities in the southeast MA area.

Pinned me in those areas as well.

Had me as beeing from Buffalo, Rochester or Milwaukee. Pretty close. And the least likely to be from New Orleans, El Paso, and Fort Worth,

It put me in one of three states below me. However some of the words I pronounce correctly but my grandparent did not. The difference was most likely cause I made it all the way to ninth grade. I actually took it twice cause I was having so much fun. :D

I was born & raised in Hillside, NJ

The quiz specified Jersey City, NJ & Newark, NJ, which blows my mind!

> Jersey City, NJ   6.5 mi from Hillside

> Newark, NJ        3.0 mi from Hillside

MAN, that's sticking a landing!!

Well, I took this test twice and it put me in Little Rock, AR., Jackson, MS., and Columbus, GA. . Not sure if that's a good thing considering I was born, raised, and still live in central IL.

The question about what i call the night before Halloween, I answered devils night, the map showing what are you're most similar too, ONLY Michigan was red, everywhere else was blue.....had no idea.

Only place in the country where it's called devil's night, born and raised in Detroit and the test verified that 3 times.  I did live south of the Mason Dixon line for a while and NYC, adopted the accents for a bit but no longer have them.

Guess I traveled too much from Chicago when i lived there. Could have been anywhere between Milwaukee and Grand Rapids, then again I fished any where between.

Pegged me exactly. Central Kansas, about a hundred miles northwest of Wichita.

My wife, as it happens, also grew up in Hillside, NJ.

Out of curiosity, I had Lois partake in this little quiz (btw: Lois is the "Lo" in RoLo).

You guessed it, the test pegged Lois to Jersey City, NJ - Newark, NJ - Yonkers, NY (PERFECT).

Thanx Slonezp, I never realized the uncanny precision of dialect.
