What Are Your Favorite Tv Shows?

Featured Replies

Up here in the frozen part of the country, I spend a few hours each evening in front of the TV. My favorite show on TV has to be The Big Bang Theory. Very funny, and well written. Along with Barney Fife and Ed Norton, Sheldon Cooper has to be one of the best characters that's ever been on a comedy.

In dramas, Elementary, the modern day Sherlock Holmes series is really good and I like Mad Men (when it's on).

In reality shows, I like American Pickers which is funny because I'm not a collector and I don't care anything about antiques but they are nice guys who buy "guy" stuff. The only fishing show I record is one that is probably only seen in the upper midwest. John Gillespies Waters and Woods. John gets over the top excited when someone gets a good fish which annoys a lot of viewers, but John puts out a new show every week. He films at locations mostly around Wisconsin during the week using local guides, edits it and has it on the air that Saturday. Mostly ice fishing during the winter, but he fishes a lot of the same waters I do for whatever is biting that week.

What shows do you make sure not to miss?

Walking dead is a favorite. was into game of thrones but not so much any more. i enjoy archer on fx. Duck dynasty gets watched alot. and thats about it not real. big on tv really winnter is when its watched the most. im usually outdoors spring thru late fall early winter.

Ink Master, Tattoo Nightmare, Pawn Stars, Modern Marvels, Anything on the military channel, Ghost Adventures (its one of my all time favorite shows ever), Moms (the girl from the Scary Movie series is hysterical), Duck Dynasty, Decent amount of PBS, Property Brothers, Pokémon (with my son) plus Pikachu is a true pimp, Various documentaries, Hannah Montana (Billy Ray is the man), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Star Wars Clone Wars (both with my son).

Besides fishing shows it the Walking Dead and Agents of Shield right now.

Big Bang Theory (their isn't character that could be left out,  all are perfectly placed),  The original Two and a Half Men,  Family Guy,  The Andy Griffith Show.    The comparison of Barney Fife and Sheldon Cooper is spot on.  I'd add Kozmo Kramer from Seinfeld to that group.

Antiques Roadshow

Ancient Aliens

American Pickers.  I don't care for the little chubby guy.  There's making a reasonable offer and insulting someone.  He seems to like insulting people.

America Unearthed

Boardwalk Empire

Boss.  That was a very well written, INTELLIGENT show.  I still don't understand why it was canceled.

Nick from ghost adventures is a relative, he moved from vegas to about a mile away from me 2 years ago. We see him and his family often.

Big Bang Theory, Supernatural, Pawn Stars, and American Pickers are the shows I try not to miss.  I almost never missed the Tonight show when Johnny Carson was the host, but when Jay Leno took over I lost interest in it.

Law and Order series including the SVU

there is a show on FX called  The Americans, new season starts feb26.

I really don't watch much TV....... I might watch 3 hours a night for a week then not turn the TV on for another 3 months.
