Which ever lake I am on at the time. 

that's easy for me...Pickwick...last year's Roadtrip.  nothing here compares...

KY Lake. I've been there 4 times and it has never disappointed

 

I am also a fan of Kentucky Lake. Only made the trip a couple times, but I have really enjoyed myself down there.

My extended family was vacationing at Grand Lake of the Cherokees when my grandfather

decided to drive over to a new lake under construction in Missouri. The year was 1959, a year

before Table Rock Lake was open to the public. At the time it seemed we were lost in the middle

of a rainforest. There wer no amenities of any kind, just rocks and trees. The water was crystal

clear, like nothing I had ever seen.

Knowing nothing about the lake, we managed to put in without a ramp or a clue. What we found

was a recently flooded farm field in about 8'-10' of water. My grandaddy had some new "worms'

made out of purple plastic, the original Creme worms as it turned out. Of course this was all new

to me, my brother and dad.

Our "trolling motor" was my dad on top of out Crestliner ski boat with a paddle. So the easiest plan

was to simply drift with the wind. We were meat fishermen back then and the limit was 15 fish per

person. For the first time in my life, we wacked 'em!

That's awesome and sounds like a really great time. The kind of things that stay with you forever.

Most memorable would have to be Bay Lake in Disney World. It was a guided tour on a Nitro - Fantastic fishing, fantastic views. You can see people queued up in the Magic Kingdom while you haul in bass from a boat, there is nothing like it.

Just about my favorite place on earth.

Having never fished outside of Michigan, Lake St Clair would be it for me.

 

Being able to catch big largies and smallies on the same lake, and being able to go from goose egg for 6 hours to catching a limit and culling 8 times in half an hour... It's pretty awesome.

For me, it has gotta be eagle lake, Ontario. Huge musky, eagles everywhere, and the most perfect smallmouth structure I've ever seen. Which was home to my PB bass.

 

 

Same for me. The place is heaven on Earth.

The most memorable lake I know, I've never fished, but the scenery is spectacular, Lake Superior.

Had the topic not been lakes, the backcountry is my one of my favorite places, it's an incredible fishery.  

For me its a toss up between Bull Shoals or Table rock.

For me, it has to be Clarks Hill. Beautiful place and where I caught my PB largemouth.

Lake Athabasca in Saskatchewan for big pike & lake trout.

Not really a lake but still a body of water...

 

The flats near Key West. I was there on vacation fishing. The day I had out there can not be replicated again. Only caught a handful of fish. What made it so special was there was absolutely no wind, Dead calm, sea turtles, sharks, rays, birds, tailing permit everything. It was a completely religious experience.

 

Ive since been back and i'm convinced that is my calling... Now i just have to get there.

Flats fishing in the Keys is really spiritual and I do not like using that word for much things.

 

If we are keeping it fresh water, then the St. Johns river.  You really feel like you are in another world in some parts of that river.  So much wildlife.

 

Also Mosquito Lagoon is really awesome.

What comes to mind isn't the scenic moments without friends and family to share them with.

From the Canadian wilderness lakes to latitude 22 Baja all have moments that were awesome.

It's often the first time we see nature at it's best that leaves a clear picture in our mind. A family of otters swimming up to the boat in the Canadian wilderness lake wondering what is that on our water!

Thousands of birds crashing into baitfish being fed on by marlin and tuna as the sun rises or sets in a green flash in Baja sunset. We are blessed to have these special moments.

Table Rock & Delavan lake in Wi.

Juniata river, its where I cut my teeth bass fishing. I can remember rowing my grandfathers 10ft jon up and down that river, one time we sat in a pouring down rain and just smoked those smallies. I can remember throwing jitterbugs at night and litterally catching 100 fish between us all. Id trade every piece of equipment I own for one more day with that man in that rain storm.

No doubt , absolutely a bass paradise

For just raw, big bass catching, Falcon Lake a few years ago.  First trip down there not knowing squat about the lake and had a 9 and an 8 in the boat in two hours and it got better from there.  For best memories with dad, Lake Yojoa in Honduras where I was converted from a perch jerker to a bass angler at the age of 12.  Most memorable with my son, Chandeleur Islands on the Islander mothership.  Caught trout, reds, sharks, and jacks till our arms were sore.  Wish I had written a diary to pass to my son of all the increadible experiences I've had on the water! 

The Chippewa Flowage in Hayward, WI would be my most memorable. I have not been skunked there ever. I seem to always catch a smallie or largemouth. I can also be assured a handful of pike as well.
