Jacksonville FL on a senko

Did a short float on the little river by my house. Caught a couple smallmouth, half a dozen largemouth, and even a fallfish. All on a Cavitron Buzzbait, the 1/4oz caught smallies and the 3/8oz caught largemouth. I stopped by a pond on my way out and hooked a giant kitty on the cavitron but he pulled off!

Caught this solid fish on a chatterbait this morning.

Finally caught one over 16" from this reservoir.

 

Stats for this year- excluding this fish- are as follows.

 

Maximum: 15"

Average: 14"

Minimum: 13"

Standard Deviation: Very very low!

 

 

Dang, thought no one else knew about that rock pile...Judging from the pic you were right over top of it when you took this   . We caught our first fish over 16" right there last time too.

Largest Smallie that my better half has caught to date:

Caught my second personal best bass today! It was also my first fish on a baitcaster. She was 21" and I didn't have a scale, but I'm gonna guess around 6lbs give or take a few ounces.

sweet MN, 6lb bass is nice for sure. What did you catch it on?? BH

A white skirted black jig, with a chartreuse paddle tail. The white and chartreuse combo is a killer up here in stained water.

One of the bigger pickerel I have ever caught. caught this on a swimbait which these things always hit. I love catching pickerel but I have had more bite offs this year than I ever remember. So it was nice to land this fish. Hook came right out and got this thing right back on its way.

Went to a pond in Bowie by my house for a lil while only caught 2 the first was about 6 inches and the second went 2.11 both caught on a 4in Yamamoto senko

What rig did you use to catch those fish?

Yamamoto 4 inch senko weightless Texas rig on a 3/0 hook 10lb braid 7ft medium bps tourney special paired with a lews speen spin reel

The first ones a little over 9. Here's my boys bank fish. I'm not sure who looks more worried the fish or my boy.

A few from yesterday morning 5-2 4-10 and the smaller was 3-8

Had a first for me happen last night. I did some shore fishing from the small pond at my parents camp. I had a popper tied on and during the second cast something sucked it under. I hooked it, and it thrashed on the surface once then started tugging hard. I thought I had a real nice bass on the line just because of the weight and how hard it was tugging. When I banked it, this is what I find:

 

 

Never caught two fish on one cast before, especially not on top water. I got 3 bass, all on a Storm chugbug in about 30 minutes of fishing.

Only one I caught today. But a nice one. 5.88 lbs. I had another good one come unbottoned before I got to see her.
