Mexico for largemouth or Great Lakes for smallmouth.

Always wanted to go to Okeechobee but seeing karl kalonka tear up the largies and a allies pitching docks up in cabin country all Ovr Ontario would probably be the absolute dream as of now...love dock fishing jigs and plastics.

Peacocks in the Amazon would probably be the one I'd pick if someone told me I was going on an all expenses paid fishing trip. 

It would not be something that I can catch right where I live, it has has to be a species uncommon to my home waters.  I can think of a lot places and different kinds of fish I'd like to target.

Mexico would be sweet. Either El Salto or Baccarac. Not too spendy either,provided a good deal on air fare. Heck,I have 2 un-filled elk tags here that weren't free either,lol. Erie smallies is on my itinerary for next spring. My brother-in-law has been after me to go now for a couple years. He fishes Presque Isle bay and does quite well. Time to check that out.

I'd love to fish the clear waters in the western US, though not for bass.

I'd also love to return to the Gulf of Mexico. Last time I was there, I took out a canoe with my brother and we paddled to a mangrove trail. We fished there for days. The variety of fish we were able to catch in the same spots with the same presentations was simply amazing. One of the best fishing experiences of my life.

S. Africa large mouth. They've got some lakes that you can only fish by boat and some with guide only. They show pics. of why it's boat only! Your not on the top of the food chain there! Also the Rio ***** & Silver river in Brazil?

Notice I didn't mention any cold water fish cuz cold water fish live in cold places and I hate the cold.

Sounds like a preview for another "River Monsters", I like Raul's reasoning, I don't like the cold either so anywhere warm for me, I'm sure there's somethng I can catch.....always would love to go catch a dogtooth tuna. But the 3 lakes in Mexico for LM would be good option as well.

Of course I would like to fish some other fisheries too, but the Rio Neg.ro, SA is my ultimate bucket list fishery.  Naturally I would firstly target world class Peacocks, but there are soooo many other great fish you can catch along the way...

Do you just want to catch the tiny stream brookies or would rather get some bigger ones? The Gods River in Manitoba has maybe the best brook trout fishery in North America. When I was there, the smallest one we got was maybe 14 inches and the biggest went 21.
