TW got me pretty good on Sunday, my shipment arriving tomorrow has an ABT Wake Snake 10.5 inch in Garter, Phantom Hudd 6 inch rof 5, and two War Eagle spinnerbaits.  So excited about the snake, it's crazy looking in the water.

Yesterday I received my Eeler by Megabass in the ITO Medusa pattern, it's sick looking!

Had to buy a lake master chip, couldn't get the Helix to read the old Navionics chip from my boat unit. Oh well, it's not like they cost five Megabass lures worth of cash. Oh, wait...

stopped at the Cabela's in Omaha Nebraska today and had a much better experience than yesterday. A larger selection for bass fishing

I picked up some 7 inch Zoom trick worms in black ruby and watermelon with chartreuse tail

Zoom super chunks for my chatterbait in black... I already have pumpkin and blue/black flake at home

Havoc  Craw Fattys in blue-black silver fleck and black-red fleck

Carbela brand shaky heads 3/16 oz

Johnson Beetle Spin to go crappie fishing with the other half

I spent about $25, not bad.

Megabass 110 Silent Risers en route....... ;)

I got lucky today, and got on the auction site to look for a TDZ. Well a good/great condition TD ITO had just been posted with a buy it now and free shipping from Japan. Hopefully sometime next week I'll have pictures to show. I've been trying to find a good condition one for quite some time!

A *** *** reel and *** black rod from the wifey

I`m making a $280 Tackle Warehouse order in a couple weeks! Including a Daiwa Tatula rod for my Type R! I`ll post pics when it comes.

There are a bunch of great kayaks in that price range and equipment level and realistically I'd love any of them but man... I really do love that Lure 11.5. That seat looks like it's halfway to a barca lounger and I've always thought the wheel in the keel was an awesome idea. Now they even have the electronics console, they offer the option for a rudder which is huge to me and the wider the better IMO. I'm not trying to win any races, thats for sure... Add in the lime camo and I'm on cloud nine. Dream boat right there.

You're gonna love that seat, I can sit in it all day even with my Chinook PFD on. The stability is really awesome, I got to really feel how stable this thing is last week when I was out on a lake with some boat traffic, it's only a 10mph restricted lake, but there were some jetskis with way more hp pushing it out there. I had no issues while standing with all the boat and Jetski wake. The wheel is handy, once I have it balanced I can pull my yak fully loaded thru grass, dirt, up and down hills with no issue. The issue I have with the wheel is loading it on top of the Explorer. When you raise it, and try to lean it against the truck it wants to roll back so it's a pain to car top on something that high, but I fixed that problem by shoving a piece of pool noodle cut long ways in between the front of the wheel and kayak so it keeps the wheel from spinning. You're gonna like it good...

:D :D

As promised, here are two baits I recently purchased. They are in great shape, in the original boxes, with Inserts!

The black bait Is pre- 1965 and it was later named Rebel Humpy. If you'll notice on this bait the screw that holds the lip onto the bait is on top of the head. It was only later, not sure when, they decided to go from the bottom.

Those are cool. I never seen a humpy with the screw in the head and I dont recall seeing that shad bait. I would   have to make a few cast with  them .

I'm hooked on the fin-nor AHAB LITE spinning reels. I been buying used ones too since there no longer offered new.

Recent buys,

I just purchased a fin nor #200 model.

Panther Martin spinflys

I new spinning rod from Japan. A Japanese manufacturer. There quality looks good.

Spinning reel from China the lettering on it looks exactly like a $100 reel. I feel the big name manufacturers go to China teach them how it's done then they go on there own. My Chinese baitcaster from a few years back is as good as any $100 reel. It's awesome. I have some older name brands that cost more.

You can say what u want but someday the Chinese will be in the fishing reel business like Japan is to cars today. There stuff looks good and is decent quality.

The fish don't know in using a $12 spinning reel from China. I like testing products. I did this at the engineering r&d lab. I enjoy it. The 5yo grandson will end up with it for the drop test. Lol.

Scaleface, these will not see the water. I am though talking to a Rebel-head that has a few more of the shad floaters and am trying to get 2-3 more just for the purpose of throwing them just to see. I have a stash of Rebel ring worms that are going to be used in the near future. :)

I stopped at Cabela's again today this time in Richfield, WI and of course my wallet got victimized. This will actually be my last purchase of baits for a while. I am looking forward to seeing what I get in my upcoming MTBs I just signed up for.

Cabela's brand Silver Glitter tube (crappie)

Wingding jig 2 packs (crappie)

Reality Shad 2 packs in chartreuse and chartreuse/pink (crappie)

moving on to the bass lures...

Cabelas brand RealImage swimbait in chrome shiner

more shaky heads

Strike King KVD Jerkbait

Cabela's Fisherman series Scuttle Shad crankbait

Strike King Rage Tail Structure Bug in Bama Craw

Cabela's brand 5 inch chartreuse trick worm

Cabela's brand fluke in white and chartreuse

I am really liking this crankbait. I think the primary color will work well with some of the bait fish we have in my favorite lake as well as the chartreuse on it to perhaps get a little more attention

tumblr_nsqlujrPZR1te611bo2_400.jpg

Also i liked their brand of Flukes over the Zoom brand I have been getting a walmart and the like. Has hook slots on both sides of the bait.

These came in today from Surplus Fishing Tackle. I haven't used Storm soft baits before that I recall. I found it pretty nice they actually include 2 hooks with their baits. That would be something other bait companies could get in on even if it was just a couple. Since I dont live close to any real specialty tackle shops these long tube jigs that came with the 5" tubes are a blessing I can experiment with my baits the way the manufacturer intended a lot quicker. Then I can buy what I like to use later.

Didn't thing to get any pics, but I got a few things for the Barbie fishing tourney tomorrow. A small buzzbait in black, a ZMan Chatterbait, a pack of junebug colored Zoom lizards, some 1/0 Lazer Sharp wide gap hooks, and another can of Real Magic (not for the tourney).

I have quite a few of those tube like craws in my collection. If you are looking for more shoot me a PM. At one point I had several dozen packs I bought for smallmouth grips up north. Haven't been able to go for a while. I can double check what I have left if you are interested?

Oh man several dozen packs! Well I have never tried these particular ones but thought what the heck. I like trying different stuff. And just about any craw is a good deal for me. Just looking at them don't look to bad I like they are soft (hollow). Still not sure how I want to rig them. Looks like Storm wants to put a jig in them. Have you used any of them? How did you try them? I do most of my plastics T style.

If these work out I may look for more. Ill keep you in mind thanks for the consideration.
