Oh, he's going to LOVE it.  Any kid that is the least bit interested will be blown into the stratosphere by such a gift!  Might want to pick up a bulk pack or two of EWGs to go along with it ;)

something tells me you are an embodiment of the bait monkey you seem to suggest people buy more and more ;)

Good luck! Agreed that it's wisest to get those things settled BEFORE the purchase, lol.

Well I asked her how she felt about it and she told me to do it- she says I've been working hard and deserve it!

Trigger was pulled like 30 seconds later lol.  Can't wait to receive my new 2016 Feelfree Lure 11.5 in lime camo!

DANG!  I stopped working on the boat for five minutes to check emails and ended up buying a Jackall Mini Magallon, an Imakatsu Killer Bill Minnow (the bigger 1/2oz ones) and *buy of the day* a 300yd spool of 8# CXX for $5.

This makes me happy.  Stability and comfort are my primary concerns.  I just dread the multitude of accessories I will no doubt "need" shortly after taking delivery.

Unless you have an Xploder, it's a pain getting that thing on the roof. It isn't the weight that's the problem it's the wheel in the keel that is the issue. Always wants to roll away from you when it's angled up. I fixed that problem with a trailer. That wheel is worth it though, so much easier to move around.

I drive an Acura SUV have no issues getting it into the j bars by myself

KIMG0024.JPG

this past week or two I've been buying a lot of saltwater jigs and little swimbaits for snook and speckled trout.

But just today my bps order came in with my ned rig set up.....1/15 (?) oz. Zman finesse shroomz heads and

the stubby little z man plastics whose name shall be forgotten that go with them.

Even this old dog is trying new tricks.   I will let you know how they work out for me when I work up the nerve to put this itty bitty thingies on a rod and call it bass fishing.

My Explorer is much higher, and I don't have J bars. I use the factory roof rack with the grey foam blocks. Plus I would mount it from the rear... So to speak. I had it to a science, but it sucked after a long day of fishing.

More Ned rig supplies, whopper plopper 90, 3 megabass cyclones, and a spro little John

A seemingly-random, yet frequent unexplained event that has baffled scientists and wives for decades.
