Check out Gliss next time that nanofil gets changed out.  You'll never go back.

I'll consider it, although the reviews are all over the place on Gliss, it seems. This will be a full season evaluating NanoFil for the first time, both in 6# and 12#.

More gammys from wally world picked up 4 packs. Wished they were black nickel I would of bought all of them.

Got a steal at Academy, Quantum KVD 7' MH cranking rod for $29.98 :o Bought myself and @gardnerjigman one and they still had a couple more left.

I really have had good luck with the nanofil. I use either that or fireline, both have been very solid for me. I do use a double palomar knot with the nanofil. I fished it for a year in a shallow rocky River and it held up very well, only broke when I expected it too, no bad failures. I agree about the gliss reviews, they are keeping me from buying it right now.

My latest purchases included a shimano Stradic ci4 2500 a citica 201

I got the Team Lews Pro Magnesium, a Megabass 110 and 110jr, a couple LC Pointer 65SP, then a bunch of misc plastics/tungsten/hooks. Seems like my spending habit is eclipsing $75/week. Gonna have to get more stuff soon too, I'm not very good at practicing restraint.

Some stuff you just have to buy because of the price even though it may not be what you want or use. I just couldn't resist this bundle at of all places.....a gun show?!?! 1st pic was all for $15. I doubt I will ever use the Buzzinator's but at $1 each I couldn't say no.

The 2nd pic with the line was from a huge indoor garage/flea market type sale last weekend. Spinnerbaits and buzzbaits were from one guy who didn't know what they were used for. $1 each. The rest was from another guy who claimed to have closed a store he had. $15 for all the hardbaits and $5 each for the line for a total of $30 in pic.

I think I did ok at both places.

welcome to the "club"!  those are some nice items there too!

The archangel (with kp) and the nrx (with revo rocket) are very similar in weight, despite the aa being 4" longer. The butt section is also about 1/2-1" longer than the nrx, which is to my liking, plus the aa's overall grip is thinner. I have fat palms and shorter fingers, so I like a grip that isn't too stout. Makes it very easy to palm a reel. The nrx is still better in hand, in my opinion, than the bulbous grips on say a st.c legend tournament or xtreme. Now I haven't got to lay the wood with either, only been to the park with casting plug and the aa can certainly fling. I got the nrx as more of a light pitching rod and the aa for heavier swim jigs, bladed jigs, even football jigs. If the sensitivity of a submerged bait is anywhere near what I could feel (eyes shut) from just the casting plug, the aa is probably going to supplant my legend xtreme as my main weapon of choice. Aesthetically, the aa is superior to the nrx if you prefer sports cars to jeep wranglers, but the classic green nrx is sharp in its simplicity I think.

I ordered a bull shad yesterday :D

I plan on getting into the swimbait game this year at some point, I figured I might as well get this one while TW is 10% off.

I also ordered the parts to "butch brown rig" my 8" Reaction Strike Bass Harasser (a knock off Hudd with a boot tail instead of the classic Hudd tail). I bought it on overstock bait last year for like $5 :P

Welcome to the big bait world! Check out the baits by Savage Gear if you want some great baits at very reasonable prices. The new 3D bluegill is an awesome little bait.

Your gonna need a suitable rig to go with it.

I have a 3D Shine Glide that I got in December, I like it, especially for the price

I have yet to have a quality issue with the Zman Elite series Chatterbaits but the Zman Tackle Warehouse Customs (Top row far left) have had a small quality issue with the skirts since the day I first purchased them (Feb 2015). So I purchased one to see if the quality has improved and the exact same issue still exist 1 year later (easy fix but can't believe the same issue still exist, I've already fixed it).

those GY single tail grubs are great!  not the most durable, but man the fish seem to love them around here.

that giant dog x is a fantastic topwater bait!  sooooooo easy to walk the dog with it!

My Yamamoto Tate Pencils did pretty well last weekend and I lost one, so I replaced the color I lost and picked up a black one too.  Still 2 for $10 at DSG.  Live Target (excluding sunfish and bait ball) is all buy one get one free at DSG right now, so picked up a crawfish and a blueback herring.  Also grabbed some Keitech in Silver Flash Minnow.  Oh yeah, and I ordered 10 more Rebel Craws at Amazon that should be coming in today in 5 red, 5 brown-my nephews lost all but one of my stock last weekend.

Good buy my friend. Around here rebel craws are the go to bait when the weather gets hot and the river gets low.

They've been killing it for me this year.  I have to force myself to try other baits so I don't end up using them exclusively.

Figured as long as I was taking a mid-day trip to the bank, may as well stop for few minutes at the closest tackle spot, which in this case was DSG:
