I love how so many people are just powerless against the Pop Max's sexiness.  Even people who don't get down with expensive baits can't help but admit they want 3.

 

After all, you need a light a dark and a sexy.  Everybody knows that!

I had no idea Tractor Supply started carrying fishing tackle!!! They actually didnt have much but I saw these two packs of my favorite 5" Paca Craws for $1.49 ea and had to have them. I got the only pack of Craw Fatty and the one and only pack of Venom tubes to try. I never used either but I was sure wishing they had more Paca Craws for $1.49 ea I might have had to bust out the CC.

Yeah, Dick's Sporting is scary this time of the year. Too many sales. I walked out the other day with a dozen bags of Big Bite Baits- $1 apiece. They're so cheap for fun fishing and not terrible action

I just placed a TWH order for a bunch (30) of the Santone finesse jigs- excited to try them out b/c the Jewel redesign isn't sitting with me well.

Regarding Dick's? No, in store. I was in there a couple days ago interviewing for a summer job and they had $1 packs of BBB with lots of senkos and tubes. Mind you this is PA so YMMV. They also had YoZuri hardbaits at $6 when you bought a few, and some promo on Strike King crankbaits and Havoc/Gulp soft plastics. It changes every week but the BBB deal seems constant. Also had some deal on those LiveTarget topwater sunfishes and their frogs, can't remember the detail. Dick's sells a lot of low quality trash but you can find some great deals. I don't buy much though cuz my team discounts usually exceed the sales.They also had a great deal on Missile Baits.

Look around if there's another one nearby. One near me in central NJ stinks and one right across the river is pretty nice.

I'm jealous. My local DSGs NEVER have sales other than a few cents off some lures or the "clearance rack" which is all garbage. I am there all the time and have never seen a sale worth buying.

Yup, pretty much. DSG never has anything new and exciting, just the same ole crap. It's ok if you need some hooks or sinkers on the quick, but most of their stuff is on the cheap end and what good lures they do carry they only have two different colors. If you want any other color of popmax other then white anaconda or baby bass you aint getting it at my local DSG. If you want an SCrank it better be Secret Gill (which is a sweet color by the way) or chartreuse again you better know what the initials TW stand for.

Yeah it is garbage, but I buy some of it for fun bank fishing. I manage to lose hardbaits like none other when bankfishing so those $1.99 spinnerbaits are fine. 

My store is now carrying lunker hunt crankbaits for like $3. I picked up a couple in a RBT finish. They've got really nice finishes on them and seem to be decently constructed but yet to test them out. It's hard to find convincing RBT patterns which is a common springtime forage here.

There are two DSG stores within a out a half hour from me.  One is a much bigger store which strangely enough always has crap gear on sale.  Camo reels and such seems to be their specialty.  

 

The other one is smaller but has a much better selection, great people that work there and although they are working with every disadvantage on paper they continue to be my preferred location.  Every good DSG sale/clearance killer buy I've scored was there.  

 

Kind of funny the way that works.  

Ran into DSG over the weekend... They had Senkos on sale so I had to pick some up.

Nice setup! I'm pretty pleased to see it looks good because I just purchased the components to an identical setup, got a Curado 200HG a few weeks ago and a MHF AvidX is in the mail right now. What are you using yours for?

Regarding DSG... There's only one in striking distance from me and it super sucks. I read about all the insane deals people here get at DSG and it may as well be another planet.
