bait monkey tried to kill me this weekend. he forced me to pick up a Tatula Type R 8.1.1, 7'6" Vendetta H/F, the Ned rig, paca chunks, and a couple other small things like this custom foiled 6" slow sink bull shad

Went out looking for a new flipping stick this weekend. Didn't find what I was looking for, but took advantage of some sales at Bass Pro, DSG, and Academy. The Z-Man plastics were on sale at Academy for $2.48. The manager told me they were clearing out most of their Z-Man stuff, so I will head to the other Academy near my work at lunch today to see if I can score some more.

Duuuude, I want one of those so bad. What are you going to use it for? Keep me posted. I was kinda thinking it could be useful for pitching/flipping grass since it's light but has that big handle

Update on DSG. Megabass Pop max and PopX and S cranks, 2 for 30. Got an S crack in black back chart. And a pop max in black orichio

This is the PG version, so it's much too slow for the application's you mentioned. I plan on using it for finesse cranks (shad raps and other lightweight cranks), and I'll probably throw chatterbaits and Keitechs/Magic Shads with it too.

Almost the same here. Planning on spooling mine with 20 lb. Tatsu and throwing 1/4 to 5/8 jigs and t rigs with it. Had been using 17 lb Invizx for these applications and found that 20 lb Tatsu has the same line diameter.

The sales are the same pretty much nation-wide. Check their website for your local ad. Maybe you're going in at the wrong time.

Called TW to cancel 2 items on back order to get my other items quicker. Well rather than just cancel those items I ended up adding more? Those sneaky Devils. I ordered some of the zman freedom chatterbaits as well

Saw those LC cranks at Cabela's today too. Marked down from $16.99 to $5.99, so I snagged four (ghost pro blue, ghost minnow, light hitch, spring craw).

Plus: 1x Storm Arashi Top Walker 11 pro blue, and 1x Whopper Plopper 90 loon (hey why not?).

Coupon or in-store promotion? Just checked my local DSG and they didn't jive, but they stock very little MB.

It was an in store promotion.  I was tempted by the sale, but didn't bite. 

 

I went to my local DSG last night. Gamakatsu hooks were buy 4, get 2 free. 300 yard spools of PowerPro were $19.98. And after confusing the checkout lady, I got two Megabass lures for $4.99!!!

ordered direct the cost of shipping to canada through t w was a little higher than i would have liked in order to get them for this weekend

Promotion confirmed. Only the DSG down the street from me hadn't a clue. 2 other locations were spot on, though small selection. Sale ended the 21st I think, but when they do have sales, I feel like they're really good, vs othe big box stores.
