Really trying to learn the finesse side so I picked up some terminal tackle for the mojo rig and drop shot, some shakey head jigs, black trickworms and some flukes. Now to make myself tie them on and use them!

Alright, haven't posted in a while on this thread, but have been collecting none-the-less.  Found a few deals over the last month or so and that bait monkey whispered in my ear that I must get them!

First, we have the Shimano bait binder for my soft baits....

IMG_0386.JPG

Now some baits to fill it and more.....

Zman chatterbait, Zman project Z chatterbait, Rat-L-Trap, Heddon Zara Spook, Mann's Baby 1-minus, 2x Norman Flat Brokes, 4x assorted Owner twist lock hooks, 6x Zoom assorted superfluke/brush hog/lizard......and some pliers to stash around bags and boat.

OK, it's not tackle or gear, but I think it's stupidly part of the same addiction...

In Fisherman Books 2, 3, 5, 8, 10, 13-15, 23-28 (1975-1980):

#2, #8 and #15 are the study reports I had been looking for ("bass in the reeds", "bass on the breaks", "bass on the weeds"). The others "looked good too".

Would really be curious to hear how the Bass in the reeds is. That is my favorite cover to fish for bass. PM me if it is a must have and I will do some searching to find a copy.

Well, gotta keep my streak going, so I just ordered some Rage Tail Swimmers from Siebert Outdoors.  Now I just gotta find the time to use all my new gear.  I did fight the bait monkey off on convincing me to purchase a new Lew's baitcaster though (for now).

Oops....forgot to mention I picked up a whopper plopper 130 too!

I "needed" a new finesse spinning setup (to be fair I kind of did need it since my old medium heavy is not equipped for light techniques). So I picked up a pflueger supreme size 30, and a Fenwick Elite Tech Bass ML-XF 6'10". Balances out VERY nicely. Now I am just waiting for a TW shipment that has the line for the reel (15lb Power Pro yellow braid) and a few other goodies to try on the new setup.

Ugh, I'm on a roll today.....saw the Father's Day Sale thread by Siebert and went into their sale section....

Some Siebert jig heads for his Father's Day sale he's running.  Then a re-arming kit for the Onyx PFD after my "swan dive" ordeal on Saturday...

Swan dive?  Do tell!!

Finally jumped on the ned rig bandwagon and ordered up some zman trds in green pumpkin, June bug, and mud minnow colors along with 3 different size finesse shroomz jig heads. And while I was on this finesse kick I got some Charlie brewer slider worms in green pumpkin and smoke glitter with some spider class pro heads and original slider heads. I want some of those 100 fish days that Ned talks about in his videos or even 40 fish days would be nice.

I fault you guys for some of this. :D The YUM stick baits were brought up in another thread I think buy one get one free or some deal like that. One thread I saw mention they make a specific line for "casting" so I wanted to experiment.

The Perko locks were for my boat I purchased about a month ago. The locks were no longer functional. Also only the rod locker and one large compartment in back locked. I wanted all large compartments to lock and the rod locker. Those are not cheap locks in my opinion. I ordered 2 locally and they were over $100 so I ordered these two on line for $30 each.

The Fenwick crank bait rod is my second one as I wanted another once I tried the first one and found I liked it very much, especially for the money. The Fenwick Eagle is a Medium Fast 7' I will be putting together with a budget real I have for guests to fish with if they don't have a rod of their own.

The little Power Bait grubs were a free gift from FFO-Tackle so the sticker says on them. I didn't order them. Also there were some Berkley clip on weights I ordered that didn't make the picture. Never tried them figured I might try them some time.

Do like Fenwicks myself. As you I also have the HMG, and Eagle.

I'm stuck staying at a motel tonight for a work meeting in the morning, luckily Dick's is less than 5 minutes away,  killed an hour or so and grabbed 300 yards of 50lb power pro braid for $19.98 and a shadow rap.

Autopilot landed me at Cabela's somehow...

Picasso Shock Blade 3/8oz gpump/tiger,

Picasso Shock Blade 1/2oz blk/blue,

VMC Fastgrip Octopus Hooks, #2 (love em on the dropshot)

VMC Fastgrip Worm Hooks, 2/0 & 4/0 (never tried, so we'll see)

And then the TW order arrived...

Picasso Shock Blade 3/8 Aaron's Magic

Picasso Shock Blade 3/8 Blk/Blu/BluBld

Shock Blade FX 3/8 Bluegill

Shock Blade FX 3/8 GPumpTiger/Blue

Shock Blade FX 3/8 Blk/Blue

LFT Live Magic Shad 3.5" in Bluegill, Violet Shad

ZMan Razor Shadz 4.5" in Blk/Blue, The Deal

Just got word from my builder that he should have the 2 custom builds completed by this coming week in my hands shortly after. After waiting a few months for these to come together they should be worth it. Was going to post a few teaser pics I received but decided to wait until I get them.

Broke down a bought another Lew's Custom Lite today. 7' Med extra fast finesse rod. Now it's time to pair it up to a nice reel!?
