Not sure if u walk it but that's what they are mainly designed to do, like a Yellow Majic or Rico.

Yea I've done that too and it does a pretty good job.

Just picked up this tournament MB last night at gander, 20% off. Used it this morning and LOVED it. Took no time at all to get it dialed in.

Got my Tatula SV TWS a week ago.  I've used it a few times this week and will post a review soon. I highly recommend it at the price. Casts beautifully.

Used my Birthday gift cards on a pair of Costa Fantails.Had to chip in 30 bucks but hey.I got a pair of Costas for 30 bucks!20170604_170113.thumb.jpg.7204374041451f1d80c38d51b2efca2e.jpg

There's a billion carp in every puddle anywhere near me, don't need them in my pond too. Want fish that are easy to catch for my boys.

So I'm reshuffling the deck as I often do.... decided my ML spinning rod simply isn't light enough, so I'm trading it in for something that has a range of 1/32-1/6 rather than a 1/8-3/8.  Hoping my Stella balances out with it, but if not I'll have to sell that too and get a 1000 sized reel.

Also I've got a Lew's BB1 Pro full of 17# CXX that Would go perfectly on a swimbait rod, so I'all either pick up a Daiwa DX or maybe a Leviathan if I can find a deal on one.

That oughta round out the package for a bit.  The "middle" combos are dialed, but my spectrum extremes could use some polishing, as I love extremely small and extremely huge baits.

If you fill it with crappie, it's almost like having another refrigerator!

If only I liked to eat fish

Made a pilgrimage to the closest BPS, which is an hour and a half away in Bridgeport Conn. See if I could get more of a selection of bait and tackle than at my local DSG... This BPS leaves a lot to be desired in the Freshwater bait and tackle department for what I was looking for (It's probably more friendlier to the salt water fishermen because of its location). They don't even carry Rage Chunks. So I made do with what they did have. I did get the Storm Arashi crank baits at half price. The Glacier Gloves were needed, and the Plano plastic bait box is great. I wouldn't of been able to buy those at DSG. Also bought a couple of pfds for my wife and kid for the boat

Which Plano boxes r those w the Shimano stickers on it? Would also like to see the inside of that swimbait box to see how it's configured or how u configured it and how it's used to hold baits, thanks man.

they are the ones that came in this tackle bag

as far as the swimbait box goes i don't have a picture but i will take one when i get home. it was an old case from a poker set that i added foam to the bottom and top of the box this allows me to put my glidebaits and bull shads in and have them not move around they also have hook bonnets on them so they don't get hooked into the foam

Well after hearing about them forever and getting a stupid good deal from dicks (20 bucks each)...I caved

Got this today at cabelas/DSG, total came out to around $14 or so. Now that I think about it, probably should have gotten some more cranks, along with some storm arashi's considering they were only $3!

imageproxy.php?img=&key=800899708f55a417The Jackall is nice, it's a 1/2oz but a much smaller profile than normal 1/2oz buzzbaits.

Love the Hack Attack Heavy Cover swim jigs and always have at least one rod on the deck ready to go, usually two.  Been doing exceptionally well on one with rattles lately, but could not figure out where I got it.  Discovered it is the KVD version, same jig plus rattles.  BPS exclusive, so I just ordered a bunch when they had free shipping.

Next project- more frogs.  Missouri seems to be at peak frogging season right now and I need some back ups.....

Well I got some boat stuff. Tried some new size 27 batteries which didn't fit and had to return them and pick up a pair of 24s in a town that had a Gander that was closing. Got the batteries and fire extinguisher (mine was on its last year of service) at Menards.

The ugly stick GX2 I am really excited about trying, not a great deal, but a fair deal. I may try the spincast reel for one trip out for kicks, then it will get my Daiwa Viento on it which should balance it out nicely. It's a 5' 6" medium action which was exactly what I was looking for. Curious to see if the GX2s are as solid and bulletproof as my other uglies.

Want to comment on the Gander sale, it was at 20 percent off for tackle and one example I will give is the Rage Menace marked at 6, so would have been slightly cheaper than the TW and others normal prices. Really no good deals, so I was surprised to see a lot sold. Guess some thought that sale meant good prices. We did however get a great deal on some performance polos for work, so some things were priced to sell.
