I have yet to spend big money on rods but that right there is my favorite so far

I took it out for a spin yesterday. Casts like a dream.I haven't bought the reel for it yet,so I had the PQ on it.It was a little heavy.Im either getting the Tatula SV or another CT to throw on it next week.Going to be a blast to throw when I pair it up right. That rod is so light for a heavy, and feels great in the hands.Glad I bought it.

stop guys. please. It matches my KK Stealth to the point that I sent my gf the link on sportsmans outfitters (she asked what I wanted for fathers day). I can't take it any more. I ordered a KK assassin Wednesday to replace my black max that's acting up, so my fishing budget can't take any more (this week).

I put a Conc. A on mine and it is awesome! Still my favorite setup. And yea for a heavy it is a very light rod. I fish T-rigs, jigs, C-rigs, etc on it and I love the sensitivity and how much backbone it gives you. Plus it just looks sexy.

Picked up a bunch of TrokarBig Nasty Octopus hooks in both 2/0 & 5/0 for some ocean fishing I've got coming up.

I love these hooks, and besides they just look incredibly badass.  For heavy gauge wire they give phonomenal hook penetration.

Also picked up a 2oz Lucanus jig,

a SW 110 +1,

IMG_1047.JPG.c9c56be969b9b1df93be5d4199342c73.JPG

a couple ronz 8"/1.5oz worm jig sets and a couple different size weights for ubersized saltwater drop shotting as well as a spool of 17# CXX and a sabiki rig for my spinner to keep the bait bucket full.  Those pieces should round out what I've already got pretty well.  Kind of worries to throw a 110 into salt but whaaaaaatever haha

Saltwater is fun- moreso when it's someone else's super expensive boat and gas too!  Makes possibly losing a 110 seem like an afterthought ????

Oh, and one of these things too.  Hoping it doesn't explode when a fish hits it considering what it cost.

Update. The 3D bluegill works great. Caught 7 or 8 on it! The frogs don't walk very well, but I didn't trim the legs yet. They didn't take on water so I'm happy about that.

Rough week. My Imakatsu Gillpop was here Friday from Japan, but I wasn't home to sign for it so I just got a note to pick it up at the PO. Very small town that I live by, PO only open 9-11 on Saturday so I went there right at 9 before my sons soccer practice. The lady informs me it won't be back there until after 10am? I guess they don't unload the trucks each night?

Whopper Plopper 110s were supposed to be here today, USPS acting like this guy,

Image result for you got to be a little quicker

Officially landed in Oklahoma City on May 23rd and this Canadian boy has been going crazy. Trips to Academy, Dick's, Walmart and Cabela's so far and it has been incredible!! Just wish someone would have warned me that the monkey turns into a gorilla quick.

Yield so far has been 2 whopper plopper 90's, 15 bags of zoom flukes (academy 25% off is killer), falcon bucoo rod, one knocker spooks, xcalibur squarebills, yum dinger's and rogue's at dick's....buy 5, get 5 free.

I am now scared that the US funds I brought will run out within the first 2 weeks of my trip. Lol. Might have to send out an SOS.

Sounds like you're having a good time. Now just drive north a few hours and we'll put those 90's to use on a bunch of smallies :)

Went to the local Gander Mountain to take advantage of the the closing sales. All baits and line were 40% off. I originally was planning to restock on hooks but they had a lot of stuff I liked on sale. They had at least 30 spools of Smack down for 40% off so I may go back and buy a few more also got a couple spools of mono for leaders. I was also pretty excited to find that Spro Rat. I've been wanting to try one for a while and I snagged that one for $15.

Reel and treble covers, how exciting!

I love my treble covers, I may spend 20 seconds putting on a set and a rod sock but I can have a rod out and ready to fish faster than you can grab something out of the cooler, and I never have a tangle or snag.

LOL,  I didn't realize this was an old thread until after I posted.  I never see anyone talk about treble covers and I really like them.

Gander MTN buy only 15% off in Parker Colorado... But did still get a better price compared to other sites that need to be shipped..UsKmsga.jpg

Than stopped by bps since I needed a lure retriever  after losing too many lures this past year

My whopper plopper 110's finally made it, and I was finally able to rescue this guy from the dungeon at my local PO.

20170530_103526_zpszjbtveli.jpg

Took him for a test swim today, I think I'm going to really like it. Makes a very nice "bloop" on the twitch. The flat sides let it cut, roll, and glide almost without moving forward. Pops back up hard and bobs a little like a bluegill that's circling the drain.

I haven't really fished it yet, since it's as big as most of the bass in my pond are for now, but that's gonna change really soon.

A small handful of 2K Jigs from a local Mom & Pop: that's 3 Freaks, a Deposit, and 2 Deposit Jackpots:
