Buttery smooth, the thing that I really like is the additional bantam oil they put with it. My stradic fg came with it but thr fk didn't. Needless to say I was a little bummed about that. So I was happy it also came with that. I have a fenwick smallmouth 6'9mh coming Monday Gonna be Nice skinny creek and river smallies set up. 

Don't have it in hand yet, but finally ordered a Pflueger President reel from DSGs 40% off sale today. Picked up the 35 size for 38 bucks and managed free shipping too. Figure it will balance well with my ugly stick I toss plastics and spybaits on. 

 

So the elite tech smallie came today, I'll have a pic up soon. That being said props to Alf for the amazing job they did for delivery for both my reel and rod. Also the letter and price of candy ha.the rod was shipped in a  nice heavy duty tube and the tip was nicely bubbled wrap. For a used rod it even had thr tag looks brand new. 

Ordered a Lamiglass BC rod, EXL MH Fast, 7 ft.  Cannot wait until I get it.  Bought it for heavy cover jig and worm fishing.  Christmas present.

Extreme Mission Type F. Not sure yet. I have about 25-30 casting reels, and I'll rotate them around depending up what/where I'm fishing.

Just received a new Lews Tournament MB and I love the buttery smooth spinning of the reel and can't wait to get it out on the water next spring. Planning on pairing it with a Dobyns Fury.

I bought myself a few Christmas presents today! Picked up a Teckel Sprinker Frog and a 5" Live Target Bluegill swim bait. Can't wait to head out tomorrow morning and give them a try.

Looks like I a getting in on this Swimbait thing. Should be getting a couple more this weekend.

I have one of those in brown, there a great bait and well worth the money spent.  The swimbait game is like the JDM dark side. If your into both you might as well mortgage your house now!!!!

I knew someone would bring that up, lol! I couldn't resist the hype. Plus I think it will look slick on that green Powell blank. If I don't like it, look for it in the flea market section ?

I think you'll like it. 

Like a lot of you I have hundreds of dollars in tackle that is still in it's original package, and I spend a lot of time in sporting goods stores looking for something else I don't have. I catch more Bass on Fat Head and Sucker minnows than anything else except maybe leeches! In Lake Minnetonka if you throw out a Fat Head on a hook with a bobber and don't get some action in about 30 seconds reel it in and cast again. If you don't have fish in the boat in about 15 minutes, its time to move to another spot.

 

 

 

The final 3 swimbaits to add to my collection this year. The Giron and 30 size rat were smaller than I expected, but still should catch a bunch of fish 

My wife hooked it up for Christmas!  Only problem now is finding time to use it all with the baby!  

I'd been wanting that spinnerbait special for a while now and the $100 off deal made it a no brainer to put on the wish list for the wife!
