7 Seibert Jigs, Fenwick HMG Spin rod and a tatula hl.  Still need to get some bait and another casting rod.

This has been my off season so far. Still need to buy two more setups. Also have one more on the way from Tackle Warehouse.

I just picked up one of those live targets in the matt finish.. I wasn't to happy and kind of wished I went with the gloss. And have been eyeing a KVD Sexy Dawg's on TW.. bad part is if I put in another order I need 3 3600 boxes to finish reorganizing my box.

I also went to Dicks and picked up the following from their clearance;

3 - BooYah spinner baits

1 - Strike King spinner bait

2 - Matzuo frogs

1 - 10 pack Berkeley havoc flukes

1 - 5 pack Eagle Claw weighted hooks

Total paid $10.71

I have been going to my local DSG and can not find these kind of deals. They have 25% off, but nothing like what you guys are finding.

I hope my local fleet farm starts stocking up soon. I know I was in there today and they started to mark down ice fishing gear in prep for regular season gear, and that means a sale soon I hope.

Slimshad, Those are really great. I have a 1990's era wiggle wart that is very close to that color and it really catches fish. Also you have a couple of #200 Bandits in that mix. To me the Bandit is the most underrated lure for the money.

nice!

I've only been bass fishing intensively for about a year, but I seem for some very strange reason to have  accumulated many boxes full of plastic creatures, swimbaits, senkos, ribbon tail worms, frogs, toads, flukes, crankbaits, jerkbaits, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, spooks, poppers, and propellered torpedos. I use the senkos and soft swimbaits mostly; the other stuff patiently waits its turn. I have enough rods: M, MH, H, in both casting and spinning setups, braid on some, fluoro on others, mono on one of the spinning reels.

I keep telling my wife, don't worry, I finally have enough stuff. No more boxes from TW on the doorstep. But, you know, I certainly MUST learn to use a JIG better: "...the most versatile big bass bait.  No tackle box should be without a selection of jigs."  So, I ordered a dozen assorted jigs with bags of matching trailers and got 'em in just last night. Today I tossed two different craw-trailored brown and green jigs fifty times with no bites. I wanted so badly to tie on a T-rigged senko or cast a swimbait. I started to sweat, to shake, but I persevered, resisted the urge. Kept with the jigs. Changed colors, changed  trailors, but kept with the jigs. Finally skipped one under a low bridge and nailed a powerful 5-6 pounder that unfortunately popped off just before I could grab her. Okay, jigs probably could work pretty well. Though the first batch of them cost me over $60 bucks. (Naturally you have to order $50 or more for free shipping, but then you'll surely want to pay extra for second-day shipping).

Now I'm thinking about a dedicated jig rod, heavy/fast, about 7'3" and superbly sensitive and paired with a nice, fast, strong, light baitcaster reel spooled with #15 fluoro. I know my wife will be ticked off, we can't afford this stuff. But you GUYS understand, right! I NEED a jig rod, right?   Whoa! Whoa, what was that? A determined little sharp toothed monkey just zipped across my bedroom! The monkey's going to bite me hard, again -- soon; I just know it!     Hmmm, you know, just maybe I have a problem...

The upper middle charteruse/white spinnerbait is killer!

just got my new rod in, 6'6" MF Duckett Macro Magic, picked it up off flea-bay for $91 ($71 for the rod, $20 for shipping), now I need to find me a new reel to match it

Add a couple duo realis G87 20a cranks to my list...im so weak and the monkey is sooooo strong

Never used a Strike King spinner before. I have always been a fan of Reed Runners in white. I have been thinking about picking up and trying Revenge spinners, and Mega. But I just can't pull the on another order yet. Still need save a tad more for a couple more items.

Its actually a Booyah spinnerbait

My mistake. Still never fished that before either. How are they, strong wire?

Decently strong. They are designed to be lightwired though. So it bends a little after 10 or so fish depending on how you fight them but it still runs true and u can bend it back.

Used to be my #1 spinnerbait until i bought a war eagle screamin eagle.. Which actually is getting bent up and the booyah is still good to use so ill probably be back to using it.

Good insight, thank you.

I just had a friend of mine order a PX68L and a TD-Z 100ML US Trail for me from Japan. I'll be using the PX68L for jerkbaits and the TD-Z for mid-deep cranks.

Just acquired...Rapala Husky 13 from the late 70's. 5 1/4", 3/8 oz, runs 4'-8'. The Husky pre-dated the Husky Jerk and was popular among northern anglers and anglers in Europe. Those who have used this lure will tell you it worked great on bass in the early spring.

Yeah Monday is the day but the storm will come.  I'll dance with the bait monkey and then get sendy once the pow settles.  Maybe with a little luck by the time I get back I will get to see some of the stuff that's been in transit from other countries for too long too.  A man can hope anyways haha

Dude get in the car let's rip!   :eyebrows:
