Same as for any other kind of line..........a Uni Knot.

Uni is my favorite. Had a "slippage problem" with the Palomar.

Same as any other line, Uni, Palomar, Improved Clinch.

Typically the Uni with 5-7 wraps.

Or a Palomar tied with care.

Palomar ;)

San Diego jam. Look it up.

The Jam has served me well too.

San Diego Jam. Easy to tie and seems very strong

For all the San Diego Jam people, I know I've talked with a couple buddies about this, but thought I might bring it up here out of curiosity. I've been using it for the last three years, and it seems when tying the knot you get a lot of breaks when ipulling it tight( I can go all day and not have a break when tying or I can have one break 3 times in a row while re-tying). I have no complaints having to re-tie when this happens bc once you get a good knot, it's indestructible. Didn't know if anyone else has had same experience and if they have figured out what the cause is.

Yes, I have the same problem. Some days every knot I tie cinches down tight and is super strong, some days I have to tie every one 2 or 3 times before it cinches down good and I can fish again. I can't seem to figure out a good reason why it happens, but it sure does. It's worth the headache to me though because like you said when I get a good knot tied it isn't going to break.
