I think it's safe to assume QB ( Brady ) clearly knew that the ball boys were decreasing air pressures.. Surly to god, Tom Brady was aware.

Tom refused to disclose phone records (obstruction) the nfl should contact the NSA, or snowden...

I'm in a complete state of SHOCK!   Imagine the horror of a professional sports team caught not playing by the rules.  I don't think this has ever happened in recorded history, and there should be p

  • Don't think for a moment this was an isolated incident.  This is just the one where they got caught.    This calls into question their entire season.   Unfortunately, you can't put all the blame o

I don't think Brady has a snowball's chance in, you know what, after reading this letter from the NFL.....

Good stuff, I agree with you on this. I don't believe he gets paroled, lol

This and the past history of the Patriots had more to do with the degree of the penalty, more than the actual deflating of the balls.  Not really much different thah the "break in", compared to the "cover up".

I doubt that not earning $2 mil is going to affect Brady's life much, I'm sure he has a few bucks put away.  Kraft is worth in the area of 1.5 billion, a million isn't going to have any significant impact.  It's the loss of the draft choices that is most severe.

Media types plugged in pretty well with the NFL don't know if the penalty will stand, modified or over turned on appeal.

Shirley everyone in New England is feeling a little deflated this morning....

The Pats are probably guilty, but who really cares, rules no longer apply.

On a related note, it would be cool if there were some cheat we could use to catch more bass...

The definition of bogus is not true or fake. Is that what you believe? That the everyone on the patriots are innocent and they did nothing wrong? Just wondering if that's what you meant by that.

Agreed - I was aiming more for the slang / definition and use of the word; Disappointing & Ugly.

And where's there's smoke there's usually fire, so something obviously happened.

The aspect of this that is surprising to me revolves around the apparent "Outrage".

I'm seeing headlines calling this "The Biggest Scandal in Sports History".

  Really ? ? ? ?

Major Over Kill in my mind.  Certainly provides plenty of fuel to energize next season's campaign.

Will Probably end up making the Pats more $$$$ in the long run.

for the Pats vs Colts game...

I think the Colts should do a giveaway to the first 10,000 fans of de-flated footballs...

Say it ain't so!

Geez, I'm hearing that Pat fans are truly sending in money to Ole Man Kraft to fund the fine...

Are these folks for real? Stupendous, lol

Stupe something

Standing behind a team (or a person) that has been caught cheating multiple times is not a principle, it is called being a sycophant.

A principled Patriots fan would want nothing to do with the people (Kraft, Belicheat, Brady, etc.) that are destroying the integrity of their franchise.

The last place I'm sending my hard earned money is to a billionaire. In fact, he should be paying us, the fans, for having to deal with this embarrassment. He wanted a Championship and he got one. There's a price to pay for everything.

And so it begins!

One source texted ESPN's Adam Schefter saying he thinks Tom Brady's four-game suspension could be overturned altogether.

Another source described the legal team Brady is putting together for his appeal as "unreal." It's made up of a load of experienced lawyers, including Jeffrey Kessler. Many believe Brady at least has a better than even chance to have his suspension reduced. "I don't think the Patriots are going to go quietly into the night," Schefter said. "I think this story is just getting started." Deflategate still has months to go, but smart money is on Brady not serving his full four-game ban.

I'm taking some perverse pleasure in the whole thing simply as a fan of a team 'other than the Pats'.  I do think punishment is in order, but I agree with the above.  Overkill.  But, of course, much of it stems from the fact that this is sports and fans are nuts.  Fans of teams 'other than the Pats' will take delight in casting stones and being outraged --- but, I think that part of the reason for outsized outrage is that there are an awful lot of fairly loud Pats fans who are irrationally outraged at the outrage and.....well, to be honest it is fun to poke them

I could be wrong for sure, but I'm betting Goodell

Stands his ground here.. Who can say, I'm sure Boston area fans will donate cash dollars for the grave injustice that they believe has fallen the cheatriots
