Nope, just bought some Cook's Go-To tackle storage racks for them to hang from. I don't fish them often, but that's because everyone else around here does.

I had my best spring ever throwing mostly a spinner bait. Every big fish I've caught this year has been on the same spinner bait

Have not used SB much at all this spring. I think I caught one aggressive little rock bass on a small spinner about a week ago. Last year the Pickerel were attacking them.

Yup for whatever reasons I haven't broken out a spinner bait yet this year, and hardly at all the past few summer's. Maybe it's cause I've learned a little bit about jig fishing, and I usually only fish 2 or 3 techniques at a time. I'll probably bring it back one of these days.

I'm trying to get back into it. Haven't used em for a couple years. Been more focused on bladed jigs and swimjigs and probably missing some opportunities.

I haven't busted out my spinnerbaits all year - two seasons ago they were one of my hottest outfits. I've been so into plastics lately, I think I'd only bust out a spinnerbait now if I thought it'd be the perfect way to rig something else.

Spinnerbait is my #1 lure to start the day off after the top water bite. Having said that, I'm catching more on plastics, especially worms. than spinnerbaits so far this year. With the dog days on the worm will be the mainstay presentation for me during the Summer months.

Good fishing.

Nope ;)

It's my go to lure of choice every time

Even calm conditions I will catch fish with one.

I just need to stop lifting the fish with the lure in their mouth.

The wire breaks after about 10 fish.

Bad back and hurts to squat down so I have just been lifting them with the rod.

Need to bring my net from now on.

yeah, I havent used one in at least 3 years.  not to say they don't work, but I have a lot more confidence in other lures in my area, mostly plastics.  Plus, I just love that "Thump!,' a bass makes when they slurp my senko.

I love spinnerbaits but everyone throws them and the biite just  hasnt been there for me .  I just rigged a couple of finesse spinners up and may use them some cloudy day soon .

Yup. Bladed Jigs have pretty much reolaced spinnerbaits for me.

I use spinnerbaits all year long. Never neglect them :)

yes i have and felt like i was, so last night i tied one on to throw at the pond this evening....  i've had good luck though with the swim jig so the spinnerbait hasn't had much action this year.

I will occasionally throw a spinner bait....

I've actually been throwing small spinnerbaits quite a bit lately on the river.  The local smallmouth and rock bass adore them :)

I recently cleaned and re-painted a few of mine.  They're fun lures to tinker with, and fun lures to fish with.

Way too many throw a spinnerbait here so I generally don't. Another is almost every fish is a pickerel.

Spinnerbait is on all year long for me..

Caught my biggest of the year so far a 5.5lb on a half oz spinnerbait who also snapped my rod trying to crane her onshore.

Numbers too.. loads of fish this year on a 1/4 oz spinner.. always whip that out when im lookin to catch numbers.

Toss me in with the "swim jigs have replaced spinnerbaits" crowd. Plus if I buy nice, thin wire ones the pike and big smallmouth will ruin them.

I never am without a spinnerbait! I use them year round. You just have to adjust how you fish them.

I really want to throw spinnerbaits but I'm limited to the bank, and most of the spots I frequent are choked with lily pads. If I ever get out on a boat I'll be throwing them for sure though.

I haven't been fishing much so far this year, and the times I have gone were for bluegill/crappies.  But when that was slow I have tossed around a spinnerbait to pass the time.  Have not caught any bass on one yet this year, but I have gotten a couple nice northerns.

Yup, I've become a spinnerbait slacker.

Of late, I’m throwing spinnerbaits less & less, and the 'vibe jig' is the reason (chatterbait).

The vibe jig has a streamlined silhouette like an in-line spinner, it generates as much or more vibration

than a safety-pin spinner, and in grass & slop, a vibe jig w/ weedguard is more weedless than an overarm spinner

I'm throwing an mj rig. does that count?  :eyebrows:
