Very sad. Prayers go out to his family. I really hope his daughters can continue on a good path. He sounded like a good guy, and a good father.

I am also saddened to hear this news. I always enjoyed our conversations about fishing, fitness, and life in general. He had a great attitude about life, and I will miss his input. My prayers are with his girls and the rest of his family.

Terribly sad.

It's always the good guys that leave us too soon.

Not sure what his personal situation was, but if the family is in any form of need I suggest we start a collective here for the family if that fits in BR guidelines.   Perhaps there may already be one online for him.

Will have him in my thoughts and prayers.

Do you think we need to have a post where we can honor our members who passed on?

Wow, what a tragedy and shocking for how young he was. I'll be giving my daughters an even longer hug tonight...

Posted with Eric here and on other forums. Very sad news, he was a passionate angler

Hate hearing these kind of things. Prayers to the family, his children, friends, and members here that knew him.

Man................terrible, 34 years old with two kids. Thoughts and well wishes for those kids, and the rest of his family/friends.

Life is harsh sometimes.

I taught my kids to think things out on there own. Not to rely on anyone. We never know when our number is up. I lost two older brothers one at 43yo, one at 52yo. The 52yo was my mentor and fishing partner since I was six. I'm 65yo now and he's passed for 20 years now. He left two young daughters behind too. It's tough on them.

I always say tell your wife and kids you love them everyday.

We never know what can happen. Hug them too.

RIP Eric. Prayers sent to family and loved ones. Tomorrow is promised to no one.
