I think Clemson gets beat by Alabama here. Shaq Lawson needs to play for Clemson in order for them to keep it close. Lots of respect for the Tigers, but I think Henry breaks a few runs in the fourth to seal this one.

Lifelong Gator fan here so I usually stick with the SEC but not this time.I hope Clemson wins cause I like Coach Swinney and I have family in carolina.That being said,I think the tide will probably win again anyway.

With 12 seconds left in the game they were winners. Then BAM! Clemson scored, making everyone who put money on Alabama losers.

I was watching that game when Coach Hays got mad.. ( I liked Hays... but I'm a Bobby Knight fan also. ) Discipline is sorely lacking in the world today.

I may be mistaken, or maybe it's that I'm older, but I think it's Woody Hayes.  Though, back in that era there was a wrestler known as Haystack Calhoun.

couldn't agree more... i'm not a big fan of college football so it takes a good game to keep my attention.  a good game it was too....  one of those games where i felt like both sides deserved a win.

I saw it too. Funny you mention Bobby Knight. He was our high school basketball coach when I was a sophomore. Cuyahoga Falls High school. 

Even though I'm a die hard Buckeye fan I was pullin for Alabama(did I just say that?). I've always liked Saban and his coaching style.

During the BCS era the SEC won 9 Championships including 7 in a row!

PAC-12 won 1 & they had to forfeit that one!

Including this one that's what 10 out of 17!

 

If they played this game 10 times on a neutral field, I could see them splitting 5-5. Thats how a championship game should be, and it was a real good game.
