Out catching dinks and net a world record .Thats the way to do it .

I've fished that point behind you a few times and have caught up to 91/2 spots right about where you are. Lake "B" as everyone has been calling it has some monster spots in it. Like you said, it'll be broken, hopefully not for a while. The place is a zoo right now. full of "dink" fisherman in each way.

Congratulations to both the fisherman and Mike!

Congrats to all involved...Terrific story!

OMG, what a great post.  I fish a pretty famous Spotted Bass Lake,  Lewis Smith Lake in Alabama.  Many years ago it had the world record before the spotts got transplanted out west.    Inspires me to get out and fish that lake more often.  I don't think there is a meaner fighting bass then Coosa River Spotted bass.  Sincere congrats to you.   IMPRESSIVE doesn't do it justice.

Pretty awesome.

P.S. Lots of big names in that writeup.

P.P.S. I once bought a Calcutta 401TE off him (unless there are two Wes Robersons). I think I should get a prize or something.

Cool story and even better that it was on a Siebert jig!

Great story. Pretty cool to see all these trophy class spots being caught. Makes me wish we weren't covered in sheets of ice.

Thats awesome congrats to both of you

@Siebert Outdoors You should make this jig with this guys custom skirt and call it "The 11" or "The Sandwich"...with his permission of course.
