Got a chance to go out to the same spot as last week!  I "leapt" at it!  Sorry for all the puns- just having fun on leap day!!!

Siebert Outdoors jig does it again - this time a 3/4 oz brush head in 00 modbug with a skinny dipper trailer. @Dypsis

9.07 on the digi- my biggest US bass ever!

If it wasn't leap year you never would have caught that fish-

this month. Sweet new US PB buddy. Congrats.

Nice one!  Congrats!

...oh my goodness man wow!!! That is a giant bass! Just crazy...back to back weeks. So, what depth are you catching them at? Off a main lake point, secondary point, ledge? Didn't you just finish a Mehico trip recently too??!!??

Finding fish in 18-24 fow off main lake points. Close to the very ends right now. Just got back from Mexico Feb 6th!

I think this would be one of those times I'd be blurring out the background of my pictures, just in case. Couple of great fish off the same area, and the scary thing is, neither was overly fat, so they could easily be DD's in a month. I know I'm jealous!

Well played Jeff!

Oh and that new USA PB is ok too I guess...

that's the best part! I "found" both those fish within 30 yards of one another, I just let Jeffro catch them!!!! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

He PROMISES he'll let me catch one next time!!!!! It is super fun to even watch a fish like that being caught as so few folks have held a true 9 pounder.

we both said the same...no gut/no eggs......... but theses fish are HEATLHY, so the future is VERY promising at this little pond.

That's a good un' right there! Way to go! Funny how some big girls stay that deep this time of year.

That's a very nice fish!  I know it has already been implied but it bears repeating.  There is potential in that lake for future DDs.

you're on fire!  MONSTER fish.  grats on your honey hole.  Hope you get plenty more outta there.

Wow.  Great catch.  Congratulations.
