I fish local ponds and I'm looking for a well rounded casting rod, MH 7'. I fish mostly soft plastics and jigs and am trying to decide between the fenwick HMG, dobyns fury, Falcon bucco, and st. Croix majo. I'm planning on pairing it with a lews LFS. Let me know what you think I'd really appreciate the help!

 

plenty of info in these forums on that topic but out of what u listed id say the Fury hands down

Check out my similar thrtead from a week ago and you'll get quite a few ideas...$100 or less casting rod.

"HMG" or the "Fury".....IMO the "Fury" but both rods are back by a great warranty! Bucco & Mojo- 5 year

id have to agree with the dobyns. i will recommend another rod to look into tho and thats the denali jadewood series rod

What rods have you looked or held at so far? Did you like any of them?
