If you stopped buying plastics today  how long would it take for you to use your last one? I think I could go a few seasons myself.

My great grand children will be able to enjoy my current stash.

I'm 30, and if I never bought another pack, I probably have enough to last me the rest of my life with some left over for my grandkids

My plastics could be passed down to my future great grandchildren.

If I keep up the fishing pace I am at probably 10 years, if I slow down who knows. Problem I have is that I have too many of certain styles that I really don't use much. A majority of my fishing is a tube, grub, Crawbug, or Ned rig for smallies. Finesse worms and creature baits not used so much there. Have had 3 packs of roboworms for 4 years that have never seen water lol  

One thing I am going to try this year is zoom zdrops and a similar jackall bait rigged Ned style to use them up.

I spent half a day yesterday organizing tackle, most of it plastics. I was happy to find most of what I have is colors and styles I still use. I do have several pounds of stuff that I will give away though. With that said, I certainly could go for years without buying anything although replacement of whatever is used most still has to be done regularly. A man can't have too many Senkos, worms, trick/finess worms, Beavers, cut tails, grubs, craws, paddletails, lizards, creatures...

Hmmm. Well, of the plastics I actually use,
assuming all of them, 6mo - 1 year.

Of those I have and don't use, 2 years or so.

Possibly a lifetime. 

If i used them everytime im out, i can go through them in a year or 2. At current rate, probably 3 years

If it's just me a long long time. But I am kind of the lure supplier for me and a couple of fishing buddies. With them a guess would be 3 to 10 yrs. They will buy the gas drinks lunch ice etc but they know I'm bringing the tackle.

Ten years. Lets just say Im in recovery.

Well, I know I will NEED more stuff as soon as it comes out, but I don't think I could ever actually run out of what I have.

 

About 2 years it pays to stay stocked up

I started bass fishing 3-4 years ago. I got enough plastics to last a few years lol. Now I use mend it glue a lot so that saves even more. Do I still keep buying? Heck yeah can't resist a deal if I find one lol.

RUN OUT OF PLASTICS?  Just the thought gave me a panic attack. 

I have so many, that I need to completely empty a storage locker of my boat when taking a buddy fishing, or it'll be overloaded!  Then there's the pegboard storage I keep full of 'extras'. My boat could sink, or my house burn down and I'd still have enough for the rest of your grandchildren's life. I'm an old fart, so I figure using your life gives you a better idea.
