How much are you willing to spend? I'm thinking a GLX would pair up nice with that. Or an Avid X.

I just got a nrx822 syr for my stradic.  Fantastic finesse combo

Zodia 6'8 ML

I have an old cork crucial ml/xf rod (2generation old) it is the best finesse and drop shot rod ever for me and will not let it go.  I'm sure the Zodias would have the same or close taper.

I have the same exact reel and paired it up with the Fenwick HMG. Best finesse set up I've ever used. Only weighs 9.3 ounces reel and rod combined. I have 8lb Seaguar Invizix on it.

Dobyns 683SF...

Well if you want the bees knees, shiznit a bam Sally it would be a St Croix medium light fast. Just pick your preferred flavor and length.

Dobyns 703sf, in whatever price range you wish to go.

The 703sf Champ Extreme is the best spinning rod I've ever owned.

I have that reel on a Phenix Recon PHX 5722 and really like it.

What kind of finesse, what kind of weight, are you going to use a lot of finesse techniques with it or just a few? Some anglers will opt for a medium power spinning rod as an all purpose finesse rod, others use medium light for drop shot fishing and a medium for shaky heads, others only drop shot as a finesse technique so you have to be a little more specific. It would also help if you put a budget out there, you may want something from $100 to $150 or perhaps you want a high end rod, something in the $300+ range but until you give us a direction the replies will be all over the place.

X2   So far recommendations have been from $100 to over $400.

Avid x 6'6" med spinner and your CI4+2500. I have this setup and it is very versatile and light.

St. Croix is selling Rage rods for $89, as is Cabela's...if they're doing it, I'm sure others are.  I just bought a RC610MXF from Cabela's as a finesse baitcasting rod.  I don't see any on their website, but perhaps others have them.

Great choice, that's a sweet combo.
