Good frogs

Featured Replies

Live target. Only frog I use because it is durable, worth the price, and has quality materials. my first one lasted 2 years, hundreds of bass, 3 snakehead, a catfish, and a snapping turtle and still floated every cast.

Second choice would be booyah.

River2Sea Bully Wa II. It's the only one I buy any longer. It comes with most of the tweaks I usually do already done, and it doesn't waterlog.

Weird. Thought Tackle Warehouse is a forum sponser?

Nobody's giving the bronzeye any love?  They are my favorite by far.  Koppers are good too.

Spro

Booyah Pad Crasher. Not as lifelike as the Live Target but it gets the job done, has awesome hooks, a ton of great colors, and soft body for good hook-ups. Awesome deal for $5-6.

H2O ;)

I like the booyah pad crasher for a hollow body, and the Stanley ribbit for a soft plastic "buzzing" type frog.

Go with a Booyah pad crasher. Great price. High hook up ratio and durable.

My favorite is the Booyah Pad Crasher. It's super soft, has good hooks, walks easily, and won't break the bank. That's especially great if you fish in waters inhibited with toothy critters like I do. I'd put Spro and Live Target 2nd behind the Pad Crasher.

your choice really there are a lot of good frogs from a lot of companies

livetarget
spro
booyah
river 2 sea
jackall
snag proof
savage gear

the only frog i wouldn't recommend would be the *** frog i have had 2 and both of them had legs ripped off even though they had extra glue added.

Booyah Pad Crasher! I have some of the others mentioned here, but this is the one I use. It gives me the best hookup rate and keeps floating. The price is right too.

Pad crasher for best bang for your buck. Live target if money is not a concern. The live target is more durable though so that could be a consideration.

A lot of good frogs out there!!! But one stands out for me and that is the Snag proof Phat frog, you can't sink it. It has a air tight chamber in the body. As for plastic frogs I like the Zoom Horny Toad,Netbait paca toad.

I like the Pad Crashers, they're more reasonably priced than Spro.  The improved Basyriski is fun, though a little different.  The Kopper's frogs are great, but expensive and not as durable.  I wish they'd come out with the same frog, but less detail (I don't feel that much realism is necessary) for a lower price.  Please put a pink dot on the back, like I sometimes do to better see when the bait gets eaten.  Really big fish simply slurp the thing, instead of blasting it.

The original scum frog from back in the day

There are many good frogs on the market as mentioned above, but in my personal experience there are also GREAT frogs.  Those frogs are kicker frogs.  Soft body, single hook- highest hookup ratio I've ever experienced.  I rarely miss one on the kickers. I can't even believe I told you guys about them, they've been sort of my little secret for a while now.

I like booyah and spro
