The Tackle Trap is back! And they have some amazing deals right now in their closeout section. A lot of Deps swimbaits up to 50% off. Netbait Paca Craw/Chunk/Slim for $1.99. Bunch of Zoom products for $2.50-$3.00. And much more.

Edit- Doesn't look like they offer any free shipping though regardless of how much you spend.

They also have a lot of Daiwa parts for close-out prices. Perfect timing, just when I need to replace a sideplate.

Tackle trap guy is too pushy of a salesman. Tries to convince you to buy certain things when it’s clearly not what you want.

I was looking at their clearance/closeout/sale section yesterday and I was surprised to see what they had. Some good deals to be had.

100% legit.

FishUSA has 13 Fishing Fate Black 3 rods for BOGO.  I don't know if these are any good or not, anyone ever use one?  You have to add them to your cart (per email I got). Valid today only.

6th Sense has Cinco de Mayo sale going on just for today. Select baits for $5. Really good deal on the frogs and cranks/squarebills, which are usually $10 each.

If anyone is interested Sportsman's Outfitter's has buy 2 get 2 free Duckett Triad rods. I don't use Duckett so I don't have any opinion on these rods.

Yup, in Springfield. New, only been there a couple of years. Dude it is LOADED with fishing stuff…one whole aisle about 20ft. long and a couple of aisle kiosks too. Lots of nice stuff too!

I’m kind of double posting this but this is the better place to post and I wanted to make sure everyone knows about this deal. Lews Hack Attack HD casting reel from Academy. They are normally $149.99. They have them on sale for $69.99. It has aluminum frame, Winn grips, 10 bearing, dual braking, 20 lb.drag. It’s made in Korea not China.IMG_6269.thumb.jpeg.c52f4cc0c4a77c2cd5825323c79ef8d7.jpeg

@treble hook

 thanks. Just purchased one.

What do you plan to use yours for?

I'm not a Lew's guy, but that seems like a great deal.

Looks like this is an Academy "exclusive".... Which reel does it most closely compare to in their standard line up?

ETA:
Went ahead and ordered one to try. $67.40 shipped with a discount code. Couldn't pass it up.

Mine will be my only current Lews. I’ll probably just put some 50lb Braid on It and put It away for if I ever need a reel ready to go for heavy cover.

Good score! Their prices vary sometimes. The standard for LC baits I've seen seems to be $8. Some Zoom baits are more expensive than they sell for at Walmart down the street. One store I was in recently had X-zone swammers and Bomber fat free shads - more expensive than Bass Pro retail prices.

I put it on a 7’6” rod for mainly Texas rigging plastics. Maybe run a bladed jig every now and then.

I have a couple of Tournament MPs that I’d say it compares well to. I took it out fishing this evening. It casts long and accurate, winds smooth. I didn’t have any backlashes. I didn’t catch anything on it. I caught 4 but on spinning reels, drop shot.
