I have and don't care much for it. That being said, let me say that I am a Zoom fan overall and like a lot of their baits...just not so much the Z Hog.

Yes I've used it a few times. Caught fish on a SK jointed structure head with a z-hog.

Seems like a decent beaver style bait...

I prefer the Z-Craw but had no issues with the Z-Hog.

I have them in a few colors. I mostly use them as jig trailers, so I can't really say whether the fish I've caught were because of it or the jig. But i have no real complaints.

Z-hog seems to have less action than some of the others. Pitbosses are also cheaper.

i had moderate success with it this year as a flipping bait but i quickly went back to the sweet beaver, pit boss and flappin hogs

Prefer sweet beavers, D Bombs, and rodents over z hog any day!!! Z craw was mentioned above, z craw is money!!

I like he Z hog and it has been one of my top producers this year.  I mainly use it texas rigged as a more subtle creature style bait.  It is a beefy piece of plastic for sure.

I've done decent with it but with it not really doing anything different than my usual beaver style baits, I probably wouldn't buy them again.

It's a more subtle flippin bait than a Pit Boss, Rage Bug or Space Monkey, but that gliding action rather than frantic flapping is what they want in cold water or really tough conditions.

I like the Z Hog, and had great success with it this year, Texas Rigged and as a Jig Trailer.  I have big plans for them this winter as well

One of my favorite baits!. My avg. size fish with them is bigger. They are great under docks and fishing weed pockets. They work esp. good for me in the summer for some reason.
