They kick you, not as hard as a horse, but pretty dang hard. My dad is missing the majority of his right calf muscle from a horse kicking him and peeling the muscle right off the bone.

Ever seen a 1200 pound bull jump 2’ off the ground? It takes an awful lot of power to get that much hamburger off the ground!

My wife and kid would have loved that as well, in fact we usually have to stop when we are out in the country and see cows so they can look at them, especially when they have calves.

My grandpa used to have a "pet" bull that would follow him on the tractor when we were haying or feeding. My grandpa had to be careful because that bull would get behind his tractor and push it when he'd get off of it doing something. If there were any hills around it could have been a problem. He'd roll round bales too which can weigh anywhere from around 800 to upwards of 2,000 pounds like a cat rolling a toy ball. Those giant necks of theirs are nothing but solid muscle and I've been put on my back more than once by a cow with an attitude throwing it's head around at me.

Yep, I completely believe that. I rode a couple bulls in high school, pretty amazing to feel them work for a second, and the ornery one basically got his head under me and threw me about 10’ across the arena, I won’t go into what happened after that, let’s just say #metoo ?

Either of you ever been rammed in the neather regions by a goat? That is pain. My uncle had horses, cows, chickens and geese and none of them was as dangerous as that dang goat. Use to sneak up on you when you were doing any kind of work on the property and ram you. That will make your eyes water.

A guy I knew through a guy had a couple goats, we’d go over there to fish, if you stood by the split rail fence with your hands on it she would come over and smash your hands with her head, that was a mistake I only made once!

No, but I do have a 1.5 year old with impeccable aim, constantly flailing hands, and is at that unfortunate height right now. He dropped me for about 5 minutes yesterday, much to the delight of my wife.

Both my rides lasted about that long to! First one I landed right on my hip, had a huge bruise but rode the next day, he whipped me down and I landed on my head, he came back around, got me with his head and I went flying, then he pawed the ground, but he used me for the ground. He stepped on me a few times, tried to drive me into the ground with his head... it was a good time ? and it was pretty painless when it happened, amazing what adrenaline will do, and then it wore off and I was late to every class in school cause I was walking so slow for a week!

@frosty my friend Gary the rodeo clown wanted me to try out as a clown since I was a pickup rider. He said it's easy ya just run in small circles really fast, to which I replied, "it would be my luck I would slip & fall!"

Speaking of clowns, where was the rodeo clown when all of this was happening? Too busy laughing? Studying for his tests at clown college (not sure if rodeo clowns go to clown college)? On facebook live while driving?

Doing what they could to get him off me, they can’t really hold them back, and it happens really, really fast, like seconds. It’s amazing how fast those bulls are, but they are bred to be tough and fast, the ranker they are the more demand there is for them and the more money the rancher makes from them. 

BTW, I found out that rodeo clowns don't go to clown college. I mean they can if they want to but they don't have to. They won't get any benefits from the clown college if they continue to work as rodeo clowns even if they graduate from clown college. But should they move on to the more lucrative market of regular clown they will have the schooling to make the transition smooth. But the work experience of a rodeo clown will not transfer to credits in a clown college. In case you were wondering.

Just finished installing my new HDS32 in the boat. Decided to go up front with it since it blocked my view when located back by the console and I almost ran aground a couple times - very distracting. Just have to be careful dropping the troll motor, but otherwise, think I'm going to be really happy with it. Running off 4 deep cycle lithiums right now to keep it powered without killing my starting battery within the first few minutes of operation. Learned that the hard way
